Yes am at California too shedding tears being reminiscence. Thanks Sir
Amazing Suberu Oni and his group.
Suberu Oni lived right behind my granny's house in Ondo, wonderful big gentle giant of a man. I remember him coming over to pay his respects to the elders on Ijoka Lane in Ondo. I was frankly afraid of him cause he looked like a giant in my 8 year old eyes back then. Thanks for all the memories. Keep em coming, we're loving em

Suberu Oni was not the big one. He’s the light-skinned slim one. The dark-skin big guy with deep voice was Mr Agunlola Baba Iyabo.

@@nikselegance65 , quite right. Just got back on this post. Suberu was the small guy, and Buraimoh Ikusika "Agun" was the tall big guy. Thanks.
My fathers favourite artist . Thank you for bringing the good memories back to life by uploading this video
These array of good musicians, they sing culturally, philosophically, educationally and what have you.

In those days people listen to music for rebuking, for correction and for advice. All we are hearing now from this so called new generation is nothing but headache. God bless you all.

You're too much sir! Thank u so much for posting this.
This is music...let us dance
Thanks for this upload. I was listening to his music only on the Rediffusion in the 60s. That was the only medium of information available to many of us at that time and because it was mounted outside of many houses at that time and it was therefore available to all. But I still think we need a museum for our pioneers in the many areas of human developments. Your mentioning of I. B Oriowo and Kayode Ige is also very notable in your narration. I thank you again for uploading this history.
