Unconscious incompetence... I blew an account because of it. 😢... I dropped all the strategies I learnt and started taking trades impulsively. I jumped into trades whenever I see a candle forming.. I was lucky for days before it backfired.... I know how to analyze the market but still developing my psychology.

Just to make you feel better: I was always somewhat poor, never homeless poor, just miss a few meals poor. I got into options trading after putting my measley dollars into standard stock over the course of a few years as i tried to become more financially literate (even though i was a bit outta my league lol) and decided to use that (about 6k real, appreciated to 8k) to start. Made $2300 off my first trade, and about 19 grand in a couple weeks. Mind you, I never saw more than a $2000 week in my life, and that's because I was working like mad, construction in the morning, managing my local grocery store in the evening, doing side work or delivery work after or between that, and selling on ebay between that haha So those numbers were life changing for me. But I reeeaaally wanted to get through the PDT threshold ASAP, and more humanly/stupidly, I wanted to prove to my friends and family that I wasn't a delusional idiot for wanting to give up a relatively secure career for all the more random, not-a-traditional-job stuff I wanted to try. I wanted to prove that I'm not wrong for not wanting to contribute to a system that doesn't contribute to me. That I'm not wrong to be upset at the subpar standard of living we're conditioned to accept. That it simply makes more sense that you have to do not-traditional work to earn not-traditional income lol So long story short, I made such an obviously dumb trade, almost completely a gamble, and an overleveraged one at that. Now I thought I still had one freebie day trade per the 5 day rolling cycle, but didn't, so all i could do is watch as i went from $19k to $3k by the time I could get executed the next day smdh but I've been rehabbing the account and learning more every day now 😎 At least I got to take that lesson on the chin early in my journey, but I share this story for others' consolation and to hopefully let someone learn through my mistakes, especially being that in all reality, I knew better and STILL fell victim to my own psychology lol

Great video and great catch when you caught the pen (Trauma feelings are real and deeper than anything as they shape my thoughts but it’s difficult when you have a condition that slows you down when you want to run I have to walk trading is a slow progress but I always believe no matter what I will make it) If you’re reading this trust me I’ve suffered deep trauma but anyone’s trauma could be effecting them exactly like mine and geeks thankful for this 47 minutes was a great insight to myself I will master trading 🙏🏾
