There going to resoding my back yard today , the grass company dropped of 12 pallets of grass yesterday and I’m sure they will have nine guys spreading the side today. This all happened because the building at the end of my condos had a bad water pipe and they tore it up so now we get new grass only been waiting six months for this to happen.

Nothing beats the purring sound of the Ventrac in the morning. Only downside is it makes me drowsy trying to run tons of Windows updates on servers as its MS update day. I'd rather be tractoring. Actually looking like a nice 65F day so I'm taking off early to get some different seat time outside. Thanks for the motivation ;)

Great video as always! I wish I could say I was to the point of planting grass on my pond project. I think I may end up working the pond dirt I dug out last year most of this spring and summer, just to get it all spread and graded to my satisfaction. Seed has gotten so expansive, I hate to rush into planting. If need be I may wait and plant grass seed next spring.

Tim this is EXACTLY what I would have done. I do a lot of commercial landscaping/seedbed prep. You spread the rich compost then put the topsoil on top then tilled it all in. Also those smaller clods will let the seeds fall down between and have a better chance of surviving. Seems like with my experience when the seed bed is perfect fluffy powder the seeds get washed away easier.

I tilled my parents garden a couple weeks ago with the 3046R for the first time, instead of the 5320, and man the hydrostat is nice for that, along with the thinner width! The 3046R had zero power issues, of course! I like the drone footage, as long as you're talking through it. I can't hardly watch/listen to the Morgans because half of it is just no talking with montages, and I mostly listen to YT while I work at the computer, so it's just mostly listening to freeware music over there.

It is amazing how cheap and crappy they make attachments. I don't see how scattering the seed on top and running cultipacker wheels over it gives a very consistent and adjustable depth. The other firefighters were pumping from the holding area (think pool) and trainees were practicing with different size hoses shooting at items for aim & with different spay patterns. @@TractorTimewithTim It has enough range to tow 7,500 lb over 100miles on a charge, 150 you need to push it, with incredible power and finesse. The electric motors on the wheels compared to the traditional gear drive provides so much more control and it's a real joy to drive. I think they've come far enough now that it's worth the transition. It's a good jump from a typical 150 if you don't need the total towing power of the super duty
