In this video tutorial, Joshua Casper shows you Subbass Doctor 808 from Untited Plugins. This is a great tool for bass and sub bass. The Cure knob controls the low-end, Sub enhances the low end harmonics and the Saturation is next level for mid-range harmonics.
About Subbass Doctor 808
SubBass Doctor 808 is created to treat sub-bass frequencies that can be hardly mixed in home studios or while travelling.
It is great for HipHop, EDM and all electronic music producers. But also suitable for mixing five-string bass and double bass.
It filters the lowest subs, adds extra subs on healthy frequencies and adds parallel saturation to accentuate the subs.

How do I activate it it won't let me activate
Does this have an absolute cutoff below 30hz? If it doesn’t it should.

Yeah the cure knob rolls off the lows and gives an ideal frequency response.
Is there any dynamic EQ going on with the Cure knob, or is it a static curve?

considering how they affect the low frequencies aren't "cure" and "sub" cancelling each other out?

I would say you would use one or the other, depending on what you are trying to accomplish.

That's exactly what I saw and both are simply very low frequency cut/boost - just use your favourite EQ and saturators I reckon.

United Plugins are built on top of MeldaProductions codebase. The "Sub" knob is a pitch tracking synthesizer that's used in MBassador. So, no, you're replacing what's left after "cut" and "cure" with a really clean bass synth.
