Best car brand on the planet. Tough, long lasting reliable cars. Buy one and keep it into retirement. Get some all terrain tyres on this and it will go anywhere.

My 2016 CVT Crosstrek is ridiculously good. I'm averaging 38-40MPG for the past few tankfuls since I bought it. This car is only EPA-rated for around 33MPG hwy. Use a washable, dry, cotton, hi-flow airfilter (Mine is like the AEM filter, from DNA.)...and set the cruise around the speed limit.

That wet grass mud is like ice...I've driven on them and it's very difficult to get traction, and it's also very dangerous because the brakes won't stop the car. Tractor tyres will be good though.

It is also fuel efficient too.

Do you know how many degrees the hill was?

Mud is where many modern AWD or 4WD vehicles absolutely suck. Wheel speed and self-clearing mud tires make a HUGE difference, and many modern vehicles try to use TCS or similar, instead of diff-lockers, to provide power to wheels with traction and/or to slow wheels that are spinning. This doesn't work out as well in mud as it does in shallow snow or in rocks. TCS can be really good, but there should be a way to turn it completely off for mud. At least the aftermarket still offers lockers for many Subarus and 4WDs. A winch and a rear locker can drastically improve the offroad capabilities of something like an armored (bumpers, skids, & rockers) Subaru or a near-stock Jeep CJ/YJ/TJ.

many of the abs systems are superior and cheaper than LSD's. But a full locking rear diff is obviously the best. But then you usually end up spending thousands and thousands more money for the stock vehicle just to compete with a 25k$ base crosstrek.

@@onedankind8168An auto lunchbox locker is a few hundred $$. A selectable mechanical locker is about $1500US.

The area is in forest and Inside the fence there is a pool for helicopters to take water during forest fire. It is dangerous and forbidden to go in.

@@martinr8278 Exactly to the point Yes, every Subaru with just factory tire can do that When see someone point out 4WD is always better😎 I smile 😊, yea, put down the AT tire and change to street tires and do all your 4WD things again to show your 4WD is better I would watch and comment afterwards ✌🏻🤪

i absolutely love my subaru crosstrek, i drove straight through a creek one time and my dad in his truck got stuck, I had to pull him out with my car in the mud! Needless to say the crosstrek is a badass car

Replace that with mud tires then it will go like a breeze on muds

Is it 1,6 cc ???

The white one is special

love xv, and would love to own it over pajero, but all wheel drive is still not as good as 4wheel drive when it comes to off roading

Is this Subaru XV stick shift or CVT automatic, because I have seen videos of the XV with CVT transmission going up a same incline and not making it.

It is cvt transmission with 1.6 lt engine and stock car. Just steal plate for protection engine and differential.

subaru xv thats interesting to know that its CVT and only the 1.6 it must be a decent engine. In the UK these cars are a bit pricey, but the 1.6 is better value and im sure its got enough power for normal daily use.

What really prohibits the Crosstrek is the frontal overhang...AKA...Approch angle. Improve that, it'll be that much more of a vehicle to hit the trails. WOW!!!! All that from a Sissy!!👃

When your car is in the mud, keep the steering wheel straight for proper torque distribution

OKAN AYDIN AT bende düşünüyorum ama karar veremedim. Aralık ayından nisana kadar yüklediğim videolarda ( kar, çamur ve kum) video listesinden seyredersiniz, kumhonun kışlık lastiği var ve yolda bırakmadı. Tamam çamurda zorlanıyor ama yönele yeterli ve zevkli bence :). Videoları izleyip karar verebilirsiniz. Şu ana kadar AT ihtiyacı duymadım.

İnce Memed Mehmet bey suan dizel forester 330 bin ki yeni kasa değil ve aynı donanım da yok. Eyesight yok dizelde.Yeni kasa fotester ile xv nin içi aynı fakat daha Türkiye’de yok ve fiyat ne kadar olacak belli değil. En 400 bin olur. Sıfır fiyatlarından bahsediyoruz. Ben bunu 2 sene önce 150 bine aldım. O sıra dizel 220 civarındaydı. Arada çok fark var. Siz fiyatları karıştırıyorsunuz. Aynı yada yakın fiyata aynı donanımlı forester varsa almak tabi ki mantıklı. Ama öyle birşey yok.

Şehir içi tüketimi 10 lt yi geçiyor mu?
