Gravity if u ever played gran turismo 2. SUZUKI ESCUDO PIKES PEAK is the best rally car. You can try watch youtube on its performance.

That engine just sounds amazing.

Favourite rally car of all time I even had a RC version I loved it that much, the blue and yellow, the noise, gold rims and that spoiler make it iconic.

Exotic Car Spotter There should be rule on greater minimum length and probably homologation specials. ***** True, but the special times of WRC success are long gone. And there are plenty of "everyday cars" which reach an Impreza's performance.

jean luc Dubinator Blow off valve and wastegate are pretty much the same. It's not wastegate making the flutter, but rather the fact that there isn't anything venting the boost away. The flutter sound (or the more technical term: compressor surge) is caused when the pressurised air gets trapped between the turbo and closed throttle valve and it has to force itself out through the turbo. A blow-off valve or wastegate creates the air compressor like "pshhhhhhh" sound

TBH, I prefer the original boxer sound from Gr.A Subie (93' Legacy and 95' Impreza "555"). Still it sound really great!

Please help me understand something! What is that sound (little high-pitch whistles) that we hear from 0:19 - 0:23 when he steps off of the gaz. Way more high-pitch than a bov sound and it occurs multiple times. Searched and some say compression surge (but doesn't sound like a typical turbo flutter...), some say wastegate (but isn't that the sound heard when accelerating), I've heard abs system, some say its the anti-lag. WHAT IS THAT SOUND AND WHERE IT COMES FROM :o I don't know why but I need that sound.

Laurel Daigneault The pressure in the turbo builds up so much that it comes back out the compressor in little flutters. If it’s more of just a “Tsss” sound then that would be the wastegate opening up, allowing the high flowing air out of the turbo system, keeping the turbo spinning. I maybe wrong but I’m sure it’s correct lol

My father bought a 2002 Impreza Wrx wagon in early 2001. Midnight black. I grew up in that car. It meant so much to me. He passed away suddenly in March and some how I was graced with the black wagon. I can feel his presence every day on my way to work. My wife is due for the birth of my son in a couple weeks. A son that will never meet his grandfather. I will drive him home in grandpa's Subaru and it will all come full circle. Just I will be the father looking back at my son. Forever love for the bugeye.

Sedans dont sell that well anymore and this is marketing after all. People only buy SUVs and smaller city cars or if they do buy a sedan its probably electric.. A shame but true.
