Cheers Lucas! My driver's side regulator recently failed. I tested the switch in every sort of way, but the regulator never attempted to move. Great tutorial video that I'm going to use to replace mine. Should be here in a couple days. Big help!

Cheers Lucas! I am swapping the harnesses from my 05 impreza driver door into a new 03 door and I have to also move the mototor and possibly the lock switch. I never done it and just want your opinion if it is worth it to swap everything or just buy a new door with all the internal stuff in it already?

Honestly, I couldn't give you advice other than buying a new door off the same model. I never mess around with things that I know can open up a world of issues.

6:18 hey mate you didn’t really explain how to unplug the switch from the old regulator behind the door I’m blinded by the door frame and it’s not budging any tips?

I have a 1995 impreza gc3.. my driver windows problem goes like this: It rolls down but it doesnt roll up. But if get the car off the ignition and turn it back on.. the window rolls up. I notice that if I start the car and roll the window down.. when the window is down.. is like the switch is constantly trying to roll the windows down. I can hear the windows trying to go down, if I lay my arm over the door I can even feel the windows glass trynig to move down and doing weird stuff inside the door... Is like the swicth is stuck on the down command and every 20 30 seconds it tries to roll down the window.. and it gets free when I turn off the car and start it again. Any help/suggestion on this problem would be appreciated.

Ours comes pre greased. Unsure on tracks. If they are dry you're welcome to... But if there wasn't any issue with the glass moving up and down its no worries.
