@@Dawn191 I'd love that, if I can get friends who own those out there. Here's my predictions of what would happen... The Outback Wilderness would utterly trounce everything but the Ascent. Nonetheless, it would beat the Ascent by a handy margin. The Outback 3.6R and Forester Wilderness would be battling for third behind them. The rest would be some place behind those.

The false start was hilarious and a result from us not taking the car out of park after switching drivers! lol :)

Hey my friend! Funny story, the other day on the way to work (or on the way nowhere, lol), I did that in my driveway trying to back out. My neighbors musta thought I was crazy as I kept revving up the engine while wondering why I wasn't going anywhere. 🤣

Out of curiosity....what tires on the different vehicles? I know your Ascent is loaded-down, Robert, but would you happen to know weight distribution? I voted that the Ascent would win, but by what I thought would have been a much smaller margin!

My Ascent usually balances out 50/50, hence all my 2 and 3 wheeling photos. I only know my tires... hybrid mud-terrain/all-terrain Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Not the best for sand, but did surprisingly well. So far, I'm thrilled with them.

Just curious as to why you're using GVWR vs the Curb Weight. I highly doubt you're at 6000lbs unless you have 5-200lb occupants plus gear., fuel etc.

I only know my curb weight, and with similar cargo capacities and loading, the differences are pretty relative, with the Ascent being a half ton heavier at the curb than the OB (I've got every option, plus the roof rack and tire carrier as my "stock" setup putting me at about 4900 pounds curb weight). Wish we'd had the chance to find CAT scales to get actual weights though, but we didn't know we'd be doing this until moments before, lol! Maybe next time.

Add a good tune, exhaust and intake. Would be a good whooping on the other cars

On the Ascent? I wonder if an owner with an AccessPort would give that a try. The Stage 1 93 tune from COBB gives it another 21% hp and tq. But I'm content to not run a tune, as fun as it might be.
