Thank you so much for this video. This fixed our problem on our sub zero 611 perfectly! we had ice/water beneath our crispers and had checked the drain tube, it was all clear. we were stumped, then i came across your video. No more leak!! Thank you!!

Great video. We have this problem right now and the repair technician wasn't convinced. The leaking water froze around the drain tube. The technician's response, supposedly based on sub-zero advice, was to install a drain tube heater. This was not going to solve the real problem. The repair service then stated they were uncomfortable using a caulk inside a refrigerator because of the food presence even though food grade caulks are available. In the end they didn't want the job. Can you believe it. Stubborn to the point of stupidity. Remember, the frig has to be off at room temp and surfaces have to be dry. Great video :)

If the drain tube is iced up you probably need a drain heater. If there’s water leaking from behind the trough then you’ll need to recaulk .

You have to pull the refrigerator out from the wall to replace the drain hose. I don't have a 611 in my shop right now, but will make a video in the future.

I always appreciate to your awesome videos. They’re so helpful! Can you teach how to replace the drain tube on 611 model? There’s a hole on it and couldn’t figure out how to disassemble the tube. Thought it would be easy but I couldn’t take it out.

nice video..would you use a waterline buddy to unclog the drain line?

Is the sealant food safe? Can you do a video showing how to use a narrow snake with brush on end to clean the drain hose. Subzero is cabinet and cannot be removed from wall.

Just blow through the hose to clean it. Slide it down off the nipple.

Don’t poke anything sharp down the drain. Take a turkey baster and use hot water to melt any ice that may be in the drain tube. When you can blow through the drain hose it’s clear nd should be
