Which of 2 thermistor temperatures are reflected on a control display? My become very unstable, showing temperatures randomly from 20 to 40 degrees. Fridge does not keep the set 39 degree. Thank you.

Cabinet thermistor is the same as the evaporator thermistor. Any grease will do even Vaseline.

Hi shouldn’t you crimp the cables and then heat shrink to prevent moisture getting in ?

I use a dab of grease inside the wire nut to prevent moisture from getting in. Sorry I should have showed that in the video.

I have a 600 series. Any advice on what to do if the drain pan overflows every 2 weeks? I have had 2 certified repair techs out and neither has been able to fix it. It happens only in the summer (we don’t have AC). We went out of town for 2 weeks this summer and it did not overflow but was still almost full when we got home. I made sure that there was not much in the fridge when we were gone that could put moisture into the unit. No produce or open uncovered items. Any ideas?

Check the door seals for air leaks. Subzero has a fix for this by replacing the plastic drain pan with a stainless steel one and installing a circulating fan underneath the unit. Try the simple things first.

@@SubZeroSpecialists Thanks for the suggestions! Where do I get those parts? Directly from sub-zero? The door seals seem fine in appearance. Is that how you check them.. look for cracks and warping?

No reason, just wanted to show how it’s done. When a thermistor goes bad there will be an EE on the display panel, running diagnostics will tell you which one.
