Awesome setup! It's been years since I've seen someone do an external rad to the outside. Glad to see the silent WCing crowd is still around.
Some people can't appreciate the job, you've done well, as a person who hates any pc noise (but runs 11900kf and 3090 lol) this is insanely pleasing to look and hear at, great, just great, keep on it!

Thanks! The design is asking for a 800-1000W rig as this setup doesn’t stress it enough. It allowed my 6950xt 800W/ 12900KS rig to hit some WR hw config numbers a bit over a year ago, setup wasn’t online last summer so I don’t have any summer readings.
Excellent video!
esse é muito bom, como vai proteger os ventoinhas lado do fora pela janela quando a chuva? como protege contra choque? como explicar em setup com especifico de detalhes onde vc comprou as matérias e os produtos ? pode fazer para gente ?
Thank you for sharing...
i love it!
Great video
great idea running it outside, but there is another way as well, run the cooling loop under the ground and use copper pipe under the ground as a conductor, no radiator needed. the ground itself can keep it cool with the large thermal mass of the dirt. I know it sounds janky but it will work and is total silent, you just need a reservoir.
When your OCD has advanced to a point of no possible recovery :
This is pretty cool, would give me anxiety though lol. Luckily I game with iems and don’t mind computer noise 😂
this is awesome! what happens when it rains?

Rain rarely enters the rad but since the fans are all “upside down” they never have issue with water.

this is what i love to watch and do, keep em coming, subscribed. Is that a 3090? mine is copper modded, hybrid pump mod, 240rad with noctua and heatsinks on backplate doing 520W (modded vbios) 65c and 80c max on vram pushing max 12c hotspot..inside a small case with hybrid evga aio..

It's a 3080.12, glad to hear you have some serious mods!

@@raceme5757 since i was 12yo +-, dryice, ln2 etc grabbing a few records along the way, i wish i could make a living of this!
This is kind of funny!
Just FYI, during the summer You will bake you system and brink it.
I suddenly have a new idea
any risk of animal sneaking in or even bird poop drop into the fan?

What if start raining outside burh 💀

i think if the cables are covered it shouldnt be a problem. And if it rain on the radiator its even better cooled.
THATS A BREEZE SETUP
BTW when you cool below ambient temps, condensation forms, so you'll probably fry your PC doing this

PC’s been to 0C multiple times without issue. Condensation only becomes a problem if the outdoor rad is on overnight without a load.

I‘ve a similar setup that’s running for more than 2 years now (it’s in its the third winter). The system was halted only once when the pump failed. Now I have to pumps in a serial configuration. The lowest external temperature that the rad experienced is -11°C. The lowest coolant temperature was about -5°C (I checked the coolant can go below -15°C without freezing). The PC itself is in my office at a fairly constant temperature around 20°C. I drilled a hole in the wall and the rad and pumps are in a wooden box outside. The processor (a threadripper 3960x), GC (a 2080) and VRM are liquid cooled so the heat generated in the PC case is limited. There is no running fan in the PC case which is closed, and it’s the trick to avoid condensation: if there is no air moving, there is no condensation. Well, I guess it may still happen, but at a much lower temperature. Nevertheless, I’ve never experienced condensation. I’m so happy with this system that I’m currently building a new one for my new PC (a Threadripper 7970x with a 4090 CG).

@@melantipam2053Great input and thanks for backing up my design, condensation only happens if the object temperature is greatly different than the ambient air temperature, with a zero-airflow design the components are roughly the same temp as the water loop. I am happy to hear that others are also making setups like this :)
Calling that a sub ambient setup is a stretch.
It's not necessary for such big cooler set up , u waste money for home pc
all this for +1 fps

Many people do it for noise reduction too.
Glad your into something you like. Personally I will never build a PC that needs that type of cooling. Air cooling and a mid range setup is good nuff for me. 14900ks intel's got is a 400watt nightmare and just plain dumb. Plus if your running a 4090 with it that's a 1000 watt draw just to game. NO thanks Intel and Nvidia NO thanks. 100$ a month in electricity just to run a PC is insanity and just stupid!

With manufacturers making properly high powered chips it does take advantage of cooling setups like this but yes they seem to be going for bleeding edge power draw and it is quite unrealistic to utilize 95% of the power without needing a massive heat dissipation setup.
