The only person I felt bad for was Gerrard. He spent so long at the club when he could have gone to a better club. There was also a lot of pressure and emotions because it was the 25th anniversary of Hillsborough. He felt the most pressure because he was not only the captain of Liverpool, he is also a family member of one of the 96. (His 10 year old cousin, two years older than him, was the youngest to die. They were both footballers, and after his cousin died the rest of the family especially his grandparents pushed all their hopes and expectations on him.) I think the pressure and emotion of the whole situation got to him and made him lose his focus toward the end of the season.

This is a perfect example of how Crucial a Defense is in terms of winning the League ! You simply cannot win it on your forwards alone

The Palace players were class here. Gerrard, and Saurez were literally crying and they hugged and embraced them. No rubbing it in, no "big victory" mentality, just class. +1 to them, and I wish them well next season.

We didn't lose the title, it was never ours. We needed to tie vs Chelsea and win the rest to win the title, but Liverpool played beautiful football for the fans and were unlucky. Broke my heart watching this as an LFC fan, how close we came last year :(, so proud of our efforts though, no one gave us a prayer, ran the title race to the wire

It's amazing how people constantly complain that there's no passion in football, and that it's all about the money. Then they laugh and hate Suarez & Gerrard for crying. Hypocrite cunts. for me this is why suarez is one of the best fowards over the last 10 years the passion aswell as he's ability class!!!

Liverpool really need to put a lot of money into the back four, absolute shit. Coming from a Liverpool fan I'm so disappointed with the sloppiness of our defense. We have been carried through this season by our top quality strikers and forwards, and Jamies right, because the forwards were scoring 4,5 and even 6 goals in some games so they could be naturally shit and let in a few, but they were caught of guard today. I'm devastated and I feel so sorry for the players who have put in top performances every week, but all there efforts and hard work have been ruined by an absolutely atrocious back four, no sympathy for them at all

I'm a Chelsea fan and i do feel sorry for the Liverpool fans and the team. Having a 3-0 lead and going 3-3 must hurt especially with the League coming to an end and when your at top of the league. But in all honesty, i don't remember the last time Liverpool has a clean sheet. Or two clean sheets. They've conceded so many goals its ridicilous. Palace, Man U, Hull have all conceded less goals than Liverpool and that says something. Liverpool got really close, maybe next season.

I thought it was really good to see him cry. Shows how much he cares and how much passion he has for the club. Reminded me of when Murray cried in Wimbledon and we know how he responded after that...

Desolate chilling scenes as a liverpool supporter. Yet i keep coming back to this, as a reminder to see where we once were. Life is full of ups and downs, and this was one of the lowest of lows for LFC. Yet its these moments you go through together and come out of, which makes the love and bond stronger

SOME LIVERPOOL "FANS" ON HERE MAKE ME SICK... It's easy to support them when they're winning isn't it. Firstly, let's remember if City lose one of their games, we can still win the title. They've gotten complacent plenty of times in the past. If not, then we take 2nd place. Champions League qualification, and a Major step up in reputation again to attract big players to add depth. No matter what happens now, Liverpool have sent out the message that they're ready to compete for honours once again. At the start of the season EVERY Liverpool fan would have taken that. It could be much worse lads, we could be United fans competing for those mid table places.

Alex Sander and Gerrard. Years of dedication, passion, service and respect he put in. We all knew in 2014 we wouldn't have him here forever, we knew he was in his last year of playing for Liverpool.
