3:17 the moment the F-14B became the fabled F-14C (Convertible single seat variant). Jester peacing out in a zero danger situation will never get old 😂 Nice sound effects too. After that final round I think it’s safe to say… Growling Sidewinder is the greatest DCS Tomcat driver ever!

Came here to say this! And it was visually stunning, too.

That third round was something straight out of Hollywood. Flat spin, dodging 2 missiles, losing sight of the bandit for a second and seeing them a second before they take a shot, and then turning the tides, getting him in front and securing the kill. Class kill GS. Plus I've seen jester bail out on some interesting things, but never immediately after getting the bandits six. 😭

This is better than any movie. Not just an exciting fight turned up to 11, but you know WHAT is happening and WHY it's happening. It's not just a firehose of jargon and shaky-cam shots of jets tumbling through the air.

this man, in an f14, took a flanker out of a two circle into a one circle, and *won*.

When the Flanker crossed just under the F14's nose, I whispered, "should have pushed the nose down." Then GS said, "I should have pushed the nose down." ....my whole life feels validated now.

Overheard in the Russian TopGun Debriefing Room… “ That was some of the best flying I've seen yet. Right up to the part where you got killed. You never count a Tomcat out of the fight.”

That flatspin was just a high-level move known as "The Play Dead Maneuver".

That last round was some of the most fun I've had watching GS.

I honestly can't get enough of the Tomcat fights. Maybe it's nostalgia, or just the fact that is such sexy aircraft, or maybe because of all the tricks you can pull..... but I love it! More Tomcat vids would be awesome. BFM and BVR are just as entertaining.

Dude that last round was absolutely money… I was about to say that about the first one where Jester ejected but then I watched an F-14 recovering from a flatspin, dodging two Fox 2s and killing a Flanker in a roller

Those raindrops are hitting the remaining bit of cockpit, the part ahead of the arch. And even if that was somehow gone, the pilot still has a helmet.
