I had the big chop 3 wks ago, partly inspired by you Dominique, your tutorials have been very helpful, thank you. I’ve never had short hair before, I wish I had done it years ago. I love it! My hair looks just like yours but I have shorted bangs. It started falling out due to medication & I spent 3 years clinging on to the length. But now my hair looks so much thicker & healthier. It’s liberating & boosted my confidence. And much easier to manage than I thought. I’m an 80’s girl too xo

I did the same thing when I was diagnosed with RA in my hands, I couldn't grip a glass, much less a styling tool. Luckily, after 5 years, I'm finally in remission so I'm growing out my pixie into a LOB. Good luck, and I'll pray for you, hopefully you'll find pain relief and remission soon.

Decided to go short last year. Was debating whether or not to grow it out because I felt limited. Had a wedding on New Year's Eve and wish I found your channel earlier. It wouldn't matter if you had no hair at all - you have such a beautiful face. Every single style you come up with is fabulous. Sadly us older ladies with way more wrinkles than you, and little money for that perfect cut, struggle a little bit. But I love your tutorials, you always inspire me.

LOVE! Thank you for the inspiration! Flock of Seagulls is my everyday go to with my curls - I use a little less hairspray than I did back in the 80’s though.

Mine is thinning, too. It used to be thick and easy to manage ..... I'm getting so frustrated with it because the number of hairstyles I can do are very limited.

Thanks Dom. You gave me the courage to blow dry my hair myself. I’ve never sides fully style it that way. Using the flat iron or curling iron helps
