You spoke to me girl! Everything you’ve said about your hair is exactly what I have recently gone through. The issue for me was my long hair literally never saw any hairstyle other than the ‘mum bun’. Cutting it has literally rejuvenated things for me. And, I am so with you with the 90’s volume- I hate the straight look. I’m feeling 1996 all the way. Love this look on you hun ❤❤

When my hair gets super long it gives me rotten headaches. So when I have it all chopped of I almost breath a sigh of relief! It makes me feel free! I love the Bob on you and you seem more upbeat since you cut it off

1000% AGREE It's a control thing. Anytime I've got out of a situation I was stressed in anytime I feel like other situations are taking place where I don't feel like I have control. I either dye or cut or cut and dye my hair. Recently I've started a new job with a lot more responsibility but I'm working on getting the hang of it where I need too and it's been playing on my mind that I want to do things for this role but need to be patient as I'm new. I got a bee in my bonet and now I've had five inches off and a dramatic colour change. Honestly yes I agree it's a control thing for better or worse.

Looks good - I remember when you had a bleach blonde bob way back when you had to cut your hair off not through choice but due to damage, your hair is so lovely 😊

When I went from long to short / bob, the first few times I washed my hair, I used waaaay too much shampoo and conditioner 😂 it was ridiculous! It is a huge change and I don’t think you can appreciate it until you’ve done it. Love a velcro roller - lost count of the number of times I’ve had to peel one off me by the front door just before leaving the house. Have been known to leave one in my hair too 🤣🤣 Always loved your long hair - thought it suited you. This new look is beautiful too - the voluminous one fine day MP bob. Good work Mikhila 👍

You look so well! It really suits you. I've been considering going for a short bob. Can't explain why, just feel like I need it in my core. I'm currently prepping for dialysis as my kidneys have failed and at 37, that's really not fun. I think I need to find me again xx

I've been meaning to cut my hair in a bob for ages as I'm growing out my grey/ dye and it's about bottom of ear length. Thing that's putting me off is I work in a care home and you sweat sooo much, it's almost unbearably hot, I need hair off my face and neck. Obsessed with your cut though. I'm going to do it!!!

If you want to try an alternative for big volume with a bob, try the Revlon (or other brands) One Step Hair Dryer. Make sure your hair is about 90% dry before using or it’ll eventually frazzle your hair. I have the same hair type as you and it works a dream.

I have so many people ask me how do I get such a long hair (it's almost down to my bum) and every time I say just don't cut it and they don't believe me! I wish I was as brave as you can cut it because I been dreaming of long bob!

Your t-shirt is very apt - RECLAIMED. Sometimes a new hairstyle is just what you need. I used to have a bob and now it’s a bit shorter, but I’m pleased with it because it’s much easier for swimming. Your hair looks fantastic and really suits you.
