Great review sir!! Im.an old school Oster/ Andis Wahl guy, and just ordered these! Its going to the point that detachables just arent as necessary. I still have a set, but they were benced today for a day of Andis premium guards and Masters.

Thank you mma you for this information as a barber I was thinking of buying this clipper but I see a lot of things I don’t like for example Battery life ( Chinesse clipper lasts 4+hours ) No light battery indicator Doesn’t charge while at use Plastic body Hard to zero gap And if you try to install a wahl blade makes a lot of noise

Good Review.. I own the Ergo Gamma Plus. They fixed everything thing you mentioned. I agree, they will easily bury your other tools ... I haven’t tried the hittas but you convinced me to get them.. I’ll see soon..

The reason the run time isnt super high is due too ergonomics, making the battery bigger means messing with the ergo part, it's the sacrifice necesarry. But im exited for the new X-Ergo they look sick and might be the clippers i get next.

the motors are very different between the trimmer and the clipper right ? Clipper being much more powerful, hence pulling more power vs the trimmer .

I really like my stylecraft updated clipper, but the guards are ok. Gamma has the new magnetic guards coming out. You should try the evo mod, they say it cut much better. Good review.

Now the hitters, I LOOOOOVE THEM. yeah they don’t bald out but the lines are crisp. I don’t like the EVO’s though. They have the same magnetic motor as the ergos but again, they are horrible for neck hair. Just my 2 cents. Thank you For the great review

The charger for the ergo is stronger . I’m wondering if you been charging the hitters with the ergo charger. If so do you feel any difference in the battery?

Agree about the power of the Hitter. I have the Renpho trimmer too which goes up 7000 rpm it feels much more powerful and faster than the Hitter

Stylecraft ergo or rebel clipper

I noticed the face plates may break due to the fact that they do not thread them. May not be a quality issue but the length of the "self-tapping" screw combined with the thickness of the plastic are not a good combo.

Good review it's probably the disinfect spray making the plastic brittle....cheap material. ....

What is the blade range for the stylecraft ergo (factory setting, no zero gap)? I cannot find this anywhere, seems like an obvious spec. .5mm to 1?

Not even sure. I zerogap all of my tools before using them w/o looking how they’re set from the factory. Sorry

All you have to buy a replacement motor & battery...back like new ,💪✔️

Also, if you get a second pair the Philthy Mod for the Whal Clippers will work for your Phat Master Blade.

Haven’t used them. If they’re better than the regular ergo, I would co-sign them because I love the regular Ergo.

To my naked eye, the hair looks the same as the masters open.

Love your review but the case is cracking because your over tightening the screws

Are you speaking on batter life or motor life in reference to the 5000 hours... what does the box say, I for one no first hand the battery life and motor life are not the same

Slap a masters blade on the Ergos and you have a cordless master the way it should've been 😉. ECM also sells a gtx mod kit for those hitters but I think you'd like the evos better with that (cordless gtx)

I tried to love the hitters but they snag when balding out or during clean up work and I was ready to sell or just trash them...until i went on eliteclippermods.com and got the bracket that let me put an andis gtx blade on them. NOW they are truly hitters and it's even more powerful than before. I do agree though(before the mod) that on some people the hitters would do what the babyliss couldnt but more often than not it was the other way around. Even with the mod on the hitters my babyliss fx are still the best cordless trimmer imo

I still keep them on the sidelines because the higher Wahl guards on certain hair textures leaves lines(1 1/2- 2 etc).

Click lever is good in case you bump the lever by mistake while cutting you don’t hack your client

Ok so I just got mine yesterday, I used it at work but after one haircut each time the clipper seems to heat mid way through the cut! Is this normal or should I return it ?

We all are going to ignore that this is the exact clipper as the .50 Cal? I’ve taken al of them apart and it’s the exact same motor. The 10,000 RPM’s are great for blending but they don’t have the torque. The Masters are 7200 RPM’s but they have the torque of a rotary motor.Masters can debulk, and these or the alphas can’t. NOW, There is good to this clipper. The blade with the 1/2-2 wahl guards are 2nd to none. I’d say it’s the blade more than the clipper. I put this blade on wahl senior and it’s just as good.

Bro did you have trouble putting on different lids? For some reason they won’t sit flushed and when I try screwing it in it strips them

@@TRAVELBARBERLIFE ya bro it really sucks... the first time I used the clipper the blade shifted out of place. I didn’t even adjust it or anything used it straight out of the box. And now the lids won’t sit flushed and idky.. really wanted to like the product but so far I’m disappointed.

@@TRAVELBARBERLIFE it comes with a ceramic set and they cut good too. I like the t blade thats also included. Elite clipper mods has a kit to put the andis blades but i haven't tried it.

You calculated the motor life but you didn't calculate how the biggest problem with cordless the battery

@@lebronmother1858 rebels are excellent for fading. I have masters blades on my Ergos. The original blade on the ergo is good to fade as well, but I like the rebel better because it cuts with the deep cutter blade.

@@TRAVELBARBERLIFE I got 2 hitters also lol. I have a mod on one with the Andis blade and the regular blade on the other. On ther gamma one is the regular blade the other I put the philthy blendz mod with the Andis fade blade (I love them purple guards)

If you have a fixed station using cordless clippers is way over rated. I can see using a cordless detailor..Corded clipper cut better, last longer and are quieter.
