I use the absolute aphas and they are a beast. Although I have noticed that they cut very short especially on fine hair. They seem to cut shorter than many other cordless clippers with a fade blade but they absolutely help with detailing. I have found that my cordless masters or my cordless seniors don’t Cut fine hair quite as short.

I have the absolute alpha's. They came already zero gaped with the fusion blade! That blade is the best!! I love it!! And it's great for skin lines! And I use the absolute hitters with it. I also have the ego and Evo! To I haven't really used those yet. The trimmer blade seems to get hot on those trimmers

I have the stretch bracket that came with my mythic on my ergo with a deep tooth cutter on both. Fusion blade on my mythic and a babyliss graphite fade blade on my ergo. Idk why but it’s my favorite fade blade of all time and I luckily got it from my old stay gold fx

I agree I have both the protégé clipper and trimmer and I like them both. I just Recently purchased the rogue clipper and hope to enjoy them as much as the protégé.

Correct, the X-ergo will drop in June in the US

I've been using the alphas more then the ergos they last me all day too. Ergo usually die on my third haircut. I use a ceramic blade with wahl fade blade on my alphas. Ergos run stock. I did take off the click of the levers for both I just find it allot pleasing for me and the client not trying to hear the lever play.

Why we never hear bout StyleCraft Rogue? From what I was told by stylecraft it has the 9v motor as well just not not all the different color lids

Regarding the Ergo X, it seems that (at least in the ONE Swedish seller available to us in this small ass country) it comes with the fade blade. The rest of it seems to be up to par with what you mention here. I think I know the answer to this but; is it still a good purchase for the equivalent of $180?

Do the alpha’s still have that power issue? Rum barber said his alphas stopped turning on after a couple month’s. I wanna get the alpha 2.0 so they can come in June but I wanna be sure from your experience how has the 2.0 been performing?

I know this is an older video. I am a dad just doing my own kids cuts, and my own, at home. No barber skills outside of watching a handful of youtubers. Currently using a cheap walmart Wahl kit and looking to upgrade clipper/trimmer. I have been eyeballing the TPOB Candy+Ghost X setup for right near $100. Do you have any hands-on use with those for entry level setup? Or would the step up to that Protege Gamma bundle be better choice?

Does the gamma/sc stretch blade work on the cordless senior? I’d like to use the legend wedge blade on the cordless sr and get the full throw.

I got the Ergo 1st gen and Evo... I was about to ask if you thought that the Ergo original blade is a full number 1? Seems like .75? I like the extra room like in the Andis Master and Fast Feeds. The stretch bracket will allow you to open to a full 1. We will be selling the bracket separately in the future but timing and pricing is TBD.

The Ergos on the S|C site are the 9V version however they don't have the fusion blade. The Alphas come with the fusion blade. The fusion blade will be available for purchase separately soon.

How great would it be if the X ergo had multiple blade speed settings? Having the option to fade at the original ergo speed then change the power to remove bulk would be incredible. Gamma! We need this option. Pleeez!!

I have two caliber 50 cals one with a taper blade and one with a fade blade. I bought some oster octanes for bulk removal I havnt had a ton of opportunities to use it yet. Just kind of looking for something a new I suppose. Thanks for the feedback guys!🤘

There are no differents between ergo 2.0 and x ergo same motor only different was the power button

I bought the Protege kit and the clipper broke after a month was a real disappointment and the trimmer pulls under the chin. I recently bought the Limural cordless clipper from Amazon and put the gamma blade on it and it cuts way better than the gamma did. It does bulk way better and lasts the whole day without charging and is made out of all metal unlike cheap plastic that breaks like the gamma protege. Just my two cents
