Agreed. I also think Sturgill was going to start singing around 2:12(as he does on the Cuttin Grass record), but decided to let Sierra’s solo mellow out for another measure than expected. Artist’s mistake maybe. Still sounds incredible, as you said.

@@OccupyMelody Personally I like that Sierra went past 2:12 For me it felt like a good break in the song. I've also noticed that many artist, when performing live, take personal liberties and change it up a bit.

Went to this show the other night, Been to see Highwaymen, Willie and Merle, Waylon, this guy Sturgill Simpson is unreal and I am really happy to see this posted up I am excited to see him again… and Willie for 88 still did a great show

I know he hates the comparison, but just in demeanor he is THE new Walyon. He's got that same personality, doesn't say much but every time he opens his mouth, you hang on every word
