Dwayne Johnson didn’t say he wouldn’t vote for Democrats anymore. He said he wouldn’t endorse publicly a candidate… Meaning he probably doesn’t want to deal with the loss of business by the 50% of the population that would vote for the “other candidate”. He’s an opportunist and wants to make business with everyone and he found out that endorsing a candidate for President in the year 2016+ is a divisive thing to do so he won’t do it again. But it doesn’t mean he finally saw the light and would vote Republican… like many Hollywood persons, he will probably keep voting blue no matter who!

​​​​@@legion1630 I understand your thought process but I think the backlash is due to the fact that last election, he actually did broadcast his opinion. In fact, he broadcast it so much he endorsed someone. The fact he isn't saying his voting opinion this time comes off as disingenuous. He seems political more than anything. Whether or not he realized the country is incredibly divided, or whether or not he's lost business due to his endorsement, or whether or not he's still voting democrat isn't really known by the public. He probably should have said that endorsements aren't in his best interest and the politics backlash isn't for him and left it at that. The fact he's silent leaves a lot of assumptions. People's imaginations can run wild when they start assuming things. Also, to say, "It is my job then . . . to exercise my influence," is an interesting statement- who cares and if they do, why? The MAGA movement is very populist and there is an interesting backlash with celebrities who appear out of touch. Also, given the fact he spoke at the RNC years ago gives a lot of unanswered questions. Did he change views, and change again? A lot of people see him as a sellout and this interview in some perspectives doesn't help.

Pay more attention to voting for your Senators, Governors and State Representatives. Very few “swing states”.

I would disagree with that software engineers cannot easily do database work. In fact most will do anything they can to avoid database work. Also your salary is directly related to how well you can communicate to the stakeholders, whether they are SVPs or Directors.

So, two things stand out that . One, he said he did what he felt best was for "him" at that time, not our country. Two, he didn't say he wasn't voting for Bidden. He implied he wasn't publicly coming out and endorsing anyone.

I love this guy. A lot of respect. If you do not vote, which is a LARGE amount of military members…. It does no mean you don’t truly love American and are not a patriot. For someone so careful, articulate, and thought out when he speaks- this comment above may be his worst yet.

This is why you should never make a decision based on what a celebrity says.when i was growing up,born 1963,by watching my parents and other older people in the 70s,you didnt ask people how much money they make or who they are voting for.this is why i dont understand why anyone tells other people who they vote for.its noone else's business
