I was once doing McDonald’s tray skids in my 1.2 corsa, saw a police car coming so tried to drive away pretending it wasn’t me but the police car blocked me, they checked the whole car over and just roasted me for how shit it was, told me grow up and go home. That hurt way more than getting a ticket

Soooooo to get home I told her to get in the driver's seat and go everything except the throttle as I'd do that, sat on the boot with my head in the engine bay. It worked well..... however near where we lived there was a crossroad with lights and just as we hit it we blasted through on green, however sat at the lights was a police BMW interceptor...... we shot up the back street and I jumped off and run in the house, got changed and walked out the house. Copper knew what had happened but when he left he said "what ever I didn't see, it doesn't happen again!"

Some legal info: The police cannot issue a Section 59 unless anti social use of a vehicle is also accompanied by a breach of the road traffic act. Police will often try to issue a S59 if they have insufficient evidence to prosecute a breach of the road traffic act. Also, in the UK, the Police can pull you over while driving without any reason. They can require you to produce your licence, insurance, MOT. However, you are not required to carry them with you. This "gap" in legislation is covered by most police forces with policies which allow the driver 7 days to produce the required documents at a police station of their choosing.

I have 3 points on my licence. So, we drive on the right, of course. I was driving on a three lane highway, that is officially not a highway (like, there is no side guardrail to stop animals to get on the road, or something). So I was in the far right lane, driving faster then the cars in the other two lanes (why where they in those lanes, I don't know). Driving on to the overpass, and as soon as the road started to point down again, what I saw was kilometers ahead of light traffic, and all of the cars around me braking. And since when I drive, I concentrate on what is on the road, not what is beside it, I did not see the police with a radar on the right side of the highway at the rest stop. And my narutal reaction was to indicate left, and start overtaking the cars that where braking for no reason (there where no cars infront that where close), and got pulled over in the far left lane by a cop that had walked out in the middle of the highway (which is "not a highway") to stop me. They cought me doing 124 km/h in a 80 km/h zone (I legit had no idea what the speed limit was there, since it was my first time driving there, and the navigation did not knew either). It is just 4 km/h above the limit where you start getting points and driving ban, so I was not happy. Although, since the cop did not tell me anything, just started writing me a ticket, I was shitting my pants thinking, what if I was doing 140 in a 60 zone or something. They would just take me away right there on the spot. So when he finaly told me, I was like oh good, not great not terrible. And for months I was angry. I felt like I was punished for reading a book in a library (driving 124 km/h on a highway, that is what it is for!). And Ive been hating speed limits and cops ever sice.

A friend of mine had so much pent up energy during lock down and needed to get out so much that after 2 1/2 bottles of wine they decided to go out for a drive knowing that the roads were dead and there would be nobody about. Anyway, they ended up getting into a race with a civic type r in their 1.5 diesel Renault megane. Long story short it ended up backwards through a fence in a farm. They had to have it dragged out by a tractor and sweet talk the farmer to not phone the police. 30 quid later and a new boot lid and it was almost as good as new.

I drove like this for several months completely forgetting about it, until one day the police set up spot checks on untaxed cars. My car was quickly identified using the wrong disc and I was stopped. I ended up with a fine.

I went to the illegal drag racing once in my mk1 gti. While we were watching the racing, the cops showed up and i hopped into my car and left. As we driving to the next scene, I was cruising and not even speeding. Passed a car without indicating, jumps a stop but doing all this while not speeding at all. Eventually there was a car on my bumper with his brights on and I decided to drop a gear and go. I pulled away from that car like it was standing still and he could not keep up. The car kept on following me and then I decided to pull up into a Shell as I was now very confused. As I pull up and the filling stations lights shine on the cars, in big bold colours "Police". It was a mk6 gti cop car which we call the flying squad. The cop gets out and tells me to get out. He says in Afrikaans "dice as jy vil dice. Ry vinnig as jy Wil vinnig Ry maar moet net nie kak Ry nie". I nearly shat myself when he asked me to open the bonnet to check the engine. Eventually he pulls out a book and pen and he asks me what mods I have as he is building a mk1 golf but he wants it to pull as hard as mine😂😂😂😂😂😂 I walked away from that 1 without a fine or jail time. Lol

I remember multiple police encounters one at a car meet upstairs ina multi storey in Newmarket was the place to go. I did the tiniest wheel 1.4 tdci. Cop pulled me and threatened to tear my licence up. At the same times I can here a car banging off its limiter down stairs with smoke pouring out the building from the burnouts but didn't bother them I was like wtf. I've been accused by a copper for no licence to then pull me over and run my details and be told inhave a full bike licence. I explained the exemption is to trikes only but they were adamant so I said ok I'll be leaving then this all started because of not having an l plate I didn't need. Then they say my exhaust is loose so I said to the officer turn the bolt if it's loose and he couldn't then flat tyres list went on. They wanted to seize my vehicle I refused and drove off told them to come to my house and I'll prove I have the correct licence. They did that and went with tail between legs I made a complaint and got a written apology from head of traffic police. I absolutely despise the cunts. Recently I did a wheelspin and held it Infront of a police officer without realising was about to get section 59 and then a moped come flying round Bend and refused to stop and ran red light. Police then let me off so they could go after the moped win win.

I then got my moped derestricted and could do 45 but I had learned that I could lean forward and put my legs/feet over the number plate and set the 30mph speed cameras off going 45 and not get done for it, on the way to work one morning I got flashed by 4 cameras. Shortly after I let my mate have a go on it and he got stopped by the police so I got 6 points for letting him on it knowing he didn’t have insurance, the policeman said I had 2 options to say I didn’t let him go on it and he’d get done for stealing it or take the 6 points. I had to go to court and plead to the judge not to take my license away as I needed it for work.

When I was 16 my first motor was a 1999 Piaggio NRG 50cc. Within the first week I completely destroyed the rear calliper by skidding everywhere (as young boys do). I replaced it with a brand new one that seemed like it was made out of kryptonite. It was so strong that if you was doing 20mph+ and you slammed the brake on and revved the S**T out of it it would force the centrifugal clutch to slip, soon as you let go of the brake the back wheel would spin for a couple of seconds so I could technically drift/power slide it a few seconds… I did this round a corner in Derby city centre… around the corner was a Toyota Land Cruiser Amazon traffic car. He saw me do it, instantly jumped out his car and stopped not only me but all my mates too. Section 59 and a new pair of boxer shorts and I drifted off on my way 😂

As long as an officer can be easily identified, they don't have to be wearing their hat. Otherwise, how would plainclothes do their jobs? You'll notice plain clothes officers will unzip a coat or hoodie to reveal police body armour and warrant card to identify themselves as an officer when they make an arrest. Missing Gareth, but glad you 2 are still best mates. I'm guessing Gareth's job and probably spending a lot of time in France with his Mrs is why he's not on the videos so much these days, but I'm also happy he's doing well cos he seems like a solid dude

My weidest police encounter was being accused of crashing a car (that I had never even seen before). I was riding my bike on a quiet gravel road and saw a bunch of lads struggling to push a car out of a ditch, I stopped to help and within seconds I was grabbed by an officer accusing to be the driver of that bloody thing, it took a lot of explaining and I had to show them I had my bike just leaning against a tree nearby for them to eventually get it...nearly got arrested for nothing. Not sure they found out who actually drove it.

It's always funny to hear about traffic laws and legal consequences in other countries. Here in germany you could go 180 in a 100 zone on national roads with a police car following you and pulling you over and not suffer any real consequences. Even if they filmed you in front of them and their speedo so even the most dense person would be able to see the abnormal speed of you. All because there's no proper measurement of your speed. They need to have a measurement taken with a tested and certified device. As long as you don't endanger anybody while going that fast, nothing's gonna happen, if there aren't frequent reports of you doing similar stuff. Meanwhile in the UK you get your car taken away because you drift two times at night in an emtpy parking lot.

"cough" I mean I haven't done that again!

Only police stories car related ive got that come to memory at least was my first car, briiight orange steelies on a corsa c, exhaust hanger fell off so i just thought right ill head to my dads work and see if hes got a spare rubber hanger, im up the estate heading to the bypass just as well 3 polices cars i assume are doing some kinda training that finished.. as i cruised by theyve looked and suddenly in the mirror i seen blues and twos and an x5 that was doing a 180 2 options here.. roundabout ahead do i go left down the bypass or 3rd exit bypass where im intending to go oooooor do i leg it and rally it down the b road straight ahead of me? I chose that option because at least on twisties i was faster than a 1.2 corsa flat out😂😂 The other one was in 2022 i flew through a roundabout past a police car which i admittingly seen but didnt really care about so i stuck it a bit quicker than i shouldve and just cruised down the bypass. As im doing that the pug police car was flying down the bypass even though it was in the lane to go in to town so im like "they didnt like the way i did the roundabout" Eventually got a space to pull over and as they approached the window they said hows it going the cars showing as not insured so i was like "ah i can explain that😂" so id changed my insurance that very same night as i sold an old daily diesel i no longer needed so all was said and nice guy appreciated how clean my astra sri xp is and said bye but i genuinely think they forgot the reason they had called my reg over their radio was that i spanked the roundabout at 40+ right next to them😂😂 (should note that this was a late weekday night so hardly any traffic but i do like a roundabojt..🤣

If you are driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a public road , a cop in uniform can stop you for no reason at all. even if to say hi to Alex! 4. ALL my speeding fines were in my RX8!😂

When the Police “invite” you to attend for a chat, the answer is NO. If they have evidence let them get a warrant for your arrest. If they do, say nothing, and get a lawyer.
