I had a buddy try this, he was dumb enough to think if he could see the lines on the road he was fine. Till the road collapsed underneath his car and he damn near drowned.

When the camera moved , I just knew they fell in the river.

These are ideal conditions for crossing flooded roads. Shallow, clear standing water or shallow, clear, slow flowing water are absolutely fine to cross in most cases. You can see the road, so you know it's there and hasn't been washed away. It's not deep enough to dampen the carpet let alone drown the engine, and it's not flowing fast enough to carry the car away. Just go slow, put it in 4wd if possible and pay careful attention. Keep to the side the water is flowing from as that's less likely to have sucked away the base beneath the road and collapse from underneath you, and if you do start getting swept away you have time to react.

Turning around and going back home is exactly what I’d do but I drive a 2015 Honda accord sport only 5 inches of clearance with a lifted truck id do it

Where was this? This looks like either Day County or Marshall County in South Dakota. There were some bad years where at least 80% of Day County and at least 65% of Marshall County were under water. All the sloughs and Coulees were full and overflowing.
