The engine is louder than the horn. They literally tell you rev in motorcycle class so people can hear you. Sorry it offends you to hear people revving.

@@ToasterStud no they don’t If you are out of gear and trying to flip the throttle then you are not in full control of the bike and your hand isn’t covering the brake! People are tuned into horns as a warning

​@@problemchild1976 Yeah, they do. And you don't need to get out of the gear you're in, just hold in the clutch. Also, you should rarely use the front brake, especially when emergency braking. That's just more dangerous. Long revving is easier to locate and hear rather than a couple quick horn beeps.

The guy lane splitting at 60mph while traffic was almost at a halt shouldn't really blame the driver of the car since he probably didn't even come into view when the car started changing lanes.

Maybe if it happens so much to you, you should reconsider what ~you’re~ doing. Obviously when ur speeding through traffic people arnt gonna see you. You are in and out of blind spots going well over the speed limit as a motorcyclist but you blame everyone else for trying to change lanes and not seeing you???

I get you man, more then half these geniuses ride in the middle or away from the spaced line. Then get all butt hurt that someone has the tenacity to use there marker and cut them off. I was always taught to be as close to the spaced line whether on the left or on the right of 2 way road way.

@@rc5924 you've never drove a car in your life if you think there's no such thing as a blind spot. Every vehicle has at least two. Or one massive one. And looking that way doesn't always help. Especially not if someone by perspective is gonna be the same size as the little piece of metal they sit behind and expect you to x ray vision through.

It didn't look like a close call to me. It was obvious that the car was changing lanes at the very start of the clip when the guy was like 4 cars back. It also looked like he was near the limits of what I would consider a safe speed for lane splitting.

Yes I am pretty sure. From what it looks like the biker entering the roundabout tries to cut off the grey van because he needs to turn off. Both are already in the roundabout and instead of waiting for the grey van to pass he tries to cut him off and when the driver obviously doesnt see him he blames it on the perfectly fine driver.

Lane filtering is extremely hard to see from a car's perspective. While I think motorcycles should be able to do it as much as they feel comfortable, they gotta be looking out and ready for a lane changers, and not surprised it they get cut off a little at a distance.

Yeah these bikers zig zag around & thru cars expecting everybody to be aware of them at all times. Drivers may look & not see you before making a lane change but because bikers manuever faster in & around thru traffic, incidents like these are gonna happen.

Also in low light or night time all you can see in mirrors is sea of lights not some idiot ducking in and out of traffic. Passengers side of cars have bad blind spots so a bike lane splitting here is harder to see. In a van with solid sides this is harder again.
