You could link the foot brake to the front caliper and run without rear brakes. You can also plumb in combined brakes.

8:46 HD 4T8 runs the lights having failed to wait for the junction to clear then shakes his head at a car that didn't run the lights and wasn't in a hatched area or anything and would have been out the way had HD actually followed the rules of the road. Jeez some people.

7:34 I don't think is a good idea riding with a fake hand because you can't press the front brake in situations like that.

That seems to have been the case here. He couldn’t apply front brake to slow down and miss the bicyclist. He probably didn’t even apply rear brake

The camera makes it look much farther away, he was 2 feet or less, and had I not noticed him moving over before you can see him I would not have slowed down. I was starting to accelerate through the curve but backed off pretty quickly. Coming home tonight I was carpooling with a coworker and we nearly got hit at that exact same location... this time we were in a bright blue SUV! The inside lane becomes a turn only about a 1/4 mile ahead so people want to get over as quickly as possible, even though they have plenty of time usually.
