The re spotted black, was the turning point, and I like how it was explained, how one side of the sports can be uneven, and the referees have to put it from that side , and not the other, because it will roll, which we saw roll away from the center.. Ronnie sportsmanship, was great. Which even if he won that frame didn't affect the score or influence it.

That definitely rattled him. He was right to be annoyed, but you've got to then put it behind you. He was playing super aggressive last few frames, hitting a couple of shots way too hard. Even the greatest player of all time feels pressure, this is a tough sport

First of all I come from Bosnia and I am a huge snooker fan. I was saying to my father, who is Allen and O'Sullivan fan, that only Bingham can stop Ronnie, otherwise it's gonna be 8th title... I don't think Ronnie was disrespectful to Selby in that famous semifinals or the game, but I believe trying to pot that yellow as he did was very disrespectful to the game. He wouldn't make 5 of the shots he intended out of 100 in the practice . Considering the moment of the match and all, it was pretty uncool. Should had just potted the yellow and played defensive of the green...

That was an absurd shot on the yellow by Ronnie. Just off straight, up against the cushion, over hitting it at 110% and under extreme pressure. The likelihood of him successfully potting it was close to nil. A safer strategy would have been to simply pot the yellow, setting up an easy snooker on the green and gaining control of the table and it's 12-11. That was Ronnie at his worse. No giving a f**k. It's a pity Ronnie is not there. He is by far the best player. I'm intrigued by the prospect of a final between Jak Jones and David Gilbert. Either of them becoming the new world champion would be a significant moment, potentially transforming their lives.

Ronnie and Judd both sensational seasons have come here out of form. Losing to Bingham is a surprise but most top players would have beaten Ronnie on this performance. Too many mistakes, too many easy balls missed. It has ruined the tournament having such average players in the semi finals. I am hoping for the big girls blouse, Kieren Wilson to win it now. I am a snooker fan not a Ronnie fan so this result doesn't upset me but I do feel that this world championship hasn't been great quality wise. The seeds have fallen early, the century count is way down and this same final line up isn't great if we're being honest. That's not a dig by the way just my opinion as a snooker fan who's been watching all my life (30 years old). It just feels like there's been too much talk about the venue and will it won't be here in the coming years which for me has really taken the focus away from the actual snooker regardless if I feel it hasn't been great. The playing conditions as well seem to have hindered the quality this year its one thing having tighter pockets but the actual cloth is pulling up and all sorts which is quite frankly a joke. The players shouldn't have to adjust to poorer conditions. Imagine Wimbledon messing about with the grass or not cutting it for a month before the tournament started. Of course I'll watch the rest of the tournament but I can't deny I am a bit underwhelmed going into the weekend and unfortunately I assume the viewing figures will be down. What has everyone else made of the championships this year?

Agree. Not a vintage championship. Having the defending champion who seemed happy to be out at round 1 was not a great advert for Sheffield. I was underwhelmed by the last four line up too, no disrespect to them. They’re in the semis on merit but not players I’d watch otherwise. But personally I hope the tournament stays at Sheffield beyond 2027 but money talks & if the Crucible can’t be redeveloped or a new venue found there, 2028 could see the first WC in China or Doha?

he's always done that to refs. One year, he kept missing an escape from a snooker, Jan Verhas was ref, eventually he "accidentally" touched the black, declared the foul himself, and the ref stopped calling the miss. You could see Ronnie didn't respect him at all.
