The re spotted black, was the turning point, and I like how it was explained, how one side of the sports can be uneven, and the referees have to put it from that side , and not the other, because it will roll, which we saw roll away from the center.. Ronnie sportsmanship, was great. Which even if he won that frame didn't affect the score or influence it.
Big man Bingham is the most underrated snooker player

He used to be awful, overthinking everything... I used to say when Stuart stops thinking, creates his own rhythm, he will do great things. He did and won the world's spectacularly if you asked me...
Soon as the crowd starting coming back in bunches, Ronnies head was gone. Mad how he can play untouchable snooker 90% of the time but when his head is gone you know he’s not winning. Shocking last session FairPlay to Bingham

That definitely rattled him. He was right to be annoyed, but you've got to then put it behind you. He was playing super aggressive last few frames, hitting a couple of shots way too hard. Even the greatest player of all time feels pressure, this is a tough sport

The comments towards Bingham are disgusting . They are finding it very hard to cope with so feel its acceptable to hurl abuse at anyone that's beats Ronnie.
I bet the TV executives and sponsors are devastated by this, 3 former world champions knocked out in Higgins, Trump and O’Sullivan and now the semi final draw will be contested between 3 qualifiers and a former runner up. The viewing figures are going to nosedive unfortunately.

Piękna sprawa. Wielkie gratulacje, Stuart. Nieoczywiste pary półfinałowe i o to właśnie chodzi. Powiew świeżości i coś nowego :)
Would be nice to see Stuart go all the way.Can someone do something about Yates the Yapper commentating?
Wow...I actually predicted that Ronnie would win an 8th World Championship! I knew that Stuart would be tough for Ronnie though, even though Ronnie leads in the head to head. Stuart did cause problems for Ronnie after all, when Stuart beat Ronnie on his way to becoming a first time world champion many years ago.
Why still him? How in the hell is it possible that the 2015's nightmare happened again? He had to be out if Jack didn't throw away a match he had in his hands in the previous match! I didn't watch a minute live on tv of the final session because I'm terrified by him and I had a very bad feeling, but I can't believe it went really like that!!! That match had to be played morning and evening, not two sessions with almost no break between them without a reason!!!
First of all I come from Bosnia and I am a huge snooker fan. I was saying to my father, who is Allen and O'Sullivan fan, that only Bingham can stop Ronnie, otherwise it's gonna be 8th title... I don't think Ronnie was disrespectful to Selby in that famous semifinals or the game, but I believe trying to pot that yellow as he did was very disrespectful to the game. He wouldn't make 5 of the shots he intended out of 100 in the practice . Considering the moment of the match and all, it was pretty uncool. Should had just potted the yellow and played defensive of the green...
Stephen Hendry once got a 147 against Stuart Bingham.

Ronnie played way too many risky shots in the last three frames, and Stewart capitalised. Good luck to him.
Top 4 seeds should be knocked out by a couple of frames by lower ranked players to keep interest in tournaments.
Ronnie lost it by virtue signalling refusing the pot earlier

Yeah everyone does likes an underdog. Although, I think sport viewing improves when there are serial winners in the game thats why everyone was excited about a Trump vs O'sullivan semi final
Tbh Ronnie wasnt at his best since the start
That was an absurd shot on the yellow by Ronnie. Just off straight, up against the cushion, over hitting it at 110% and under extreme pressure. The likelihood of him successfully potting it was close to nil. A safer strategy would have been to simply pot the yellow, setting up an easy snooker on the green and gaining control of the table and it's 12-11. That was Ronnie at his worse. No giving a f**k. It's a pity Ronnie is not there. He is by far the best player. I'm intrigued by the prospect of a final between Jak Jones and David Gilbert. Either of them becoming the new world champion would be a significant moment, potentially transforming their lives.
Ronnie played well below his usual standard. He never looked comfortable- consistently breaking down when in the middle of a break.

Can't believe both of them lost today( Such a disappointment. So, it's Jones - Bingham instead of Trump - O'Sullivan. Judd's bad habits are creeping back in. On Cue Tips the other week, he was keeping his head still and knocking everything in. But now, when he's under pressure, the old head movement and lining up off-centre has come back, which is why he's missing.
Ronnie defeated himself today. He just wasn't focused. I'm afraid this was no accident and he will have more and more days like this, but I hope my estimate is wrong.
Poor old Ronnie bottles it AGAIN. He just can't overtake the goat Hendry
Ronnie should have played safe with that last yellow ball.
Для Салливана это была сложная партия так как все красные шары были очень трудными и удары на дальние дистанции но как он не справился с желтым не сложным шаром???
I thought Stuart would choke, as he did during a few close frames. He even did a bit in this frame, but Ronnie couldn't capitalise.
Ronnie and Judd both sensational seasons have come here out of form. Losing to Bingham is a surprise but most top players would have beaten Ronnie on this performance. Too many mistakes, too many easy balls missed. It has ruined the tournament having such average players in the semi finals. I am hoping for the big girls blouse, Kieren Wilson to win it now. Only because I would win $660 dollars if he wins. But I rarely win so not a good omen for Kieren I am afraid.

I am a snooker fan not a Ronnie fan so this result doesn't upset me but I do feel that this world championship hasn't been great quality wise. The seeds have fallen early, the century count is way down and this same final line up isn't great if we're being honest. That's not a dig by the way just my opinion as a snooker fan who's been watching all my life (30 years old). It just feels like there's been too much talk about the venue and will it won't be here in the coming years which for me has really taken the focus away from the actual snooker regardless if I feel it hasn't been great. The playing conditions as well seem to have hindered the quality this year its one thing having tighter pockets but the actual cloth is pulling up and all sorts which is quite frankly a joke. The players shouldn't have to adjust to poorer conditions. Imagine Wimbledon messing about with the grass or not cutting it for a month before the tournament started. Of course I'll watch the rest of the tournament but I can't deny I am a bit underwhelmed going into the weekend and unfortunately I assume the viewing figures will be down. What has everyone else made of the championships this year?
@RsR6969
12 күн бұрын
Agree. Not a vintage championship. Having the defending champion who seemed happy to be out at round 1 was not a great advert for Sheffield. I was underwhelmed by the last four line up too, no disrespect to them. They’re in the semis on merit but not players I’d watch otherwise. But personally I hope the tournament stays at Sheffield beyond 2027 but money talks & if the Crucible can’t be redeveloped or a new venue found there, 2028 could see the first WC in China or Doha?
It's going to be another world championship where one random underdog will win it. All the big names are losing, all the favorites. What does that mean? That the sport has evolved
Why is O'Sullivan allowed to get away with such bad manners.
Interestingly, for a player of Ronnie's level, you don't know if he didn't score the yellow because he was in bad shape or if it was intentional.
