It’s amazing how much you’ve accomplished in a year. I just especially love the lagoon. I know it’s not really a part of the mill, but it’s so beautiful.

I remember when you first viewed this place and then looked at so many others. I think I knew in my heart this was YOUR place from that first moment. I was so happy when you announced you were buying it! Now look at all the progress you and your friends have made. I'm always amazed at how strong, tenacious, and creative the different teams are when getting things done. What an adventure!

I must say the editing of this year adventure was a spelling wonder to the eyes and ears to the angles that surround you. It is my best yet thinking you will only get all but more exceptional as you progress.The camera angles and placement was essential to your addictive channel but the toe tapping from it caught me in the moment. The beginning quote from Drew "Works cut out BUT WE ARE HOME" was a great basis of words that made a deepening emotional hit to the bone after watching to the end. Watching your blood, sweat and tears pure into the foundation that you have formed in this valley of all our dreams is coming to reality. Your Hercules seen Drew of pushing the canister was comical and gives us a piece of your personality and endurance of whats to come. Seeing the critters that occupy your home was surprising and something I was not even thinking about through out all of the episodes in the mill. The workers and planing was essential to the years progress and for us to see all of the characters involved was a blessing to their hard work and commitment. love to get our hands dirty because of the inspiration you all give.

I’ve watched every episode but it really is breathtaking seeing it all together. You are living my dream and have made me think it might be possible. So many skilled hands involved here. I think we often forget how vital craftsmen are, especially ones like you have. Dedicated to a craft where it’s all about quality, something sometimes lacking here in the US. ...my first husband was a skilled cabinet maker and craftsman who did historic restoration work on old mansions, replacing paneling and even moldings. He also helped restore vaults, cornices, and ornate ceilings, etc. at our state capitol building. There are many skilled craftsmen in America ...but you have to pay lots of $$$ ! 😉 ~Tara

It was so satisfying to see a review of your progress on the renovation of your mill! You put so much effort, with the help of some amazing experts, to transform the mill into a home! I can't wait to see you done and moved in with your adorable kitties. I am so impressed with the way that roof was built. I wonder if that would be an option for home owners, here in the fire prone areas of California? Of course we get earthquakes too, so that would be a factor to consider. I loved that stone step that you built, but that back patio will be such an asset too! Amazing! (Cats are so resilient! I have a very friendly feral cat who had his eye damaged, I think because of the thorns on a lemon tree that we have. I could not get him, to get him treated, but now years later his eye looks healed.)

This a really great video. I watch all your videos. I love the walk down memory lane on this. We went 30 miles away from the city bought land in the forest and found ourselves staying in the forest more than the city. We didn’t miss our neighborhood.
