I lived in California as a kid, and some of my fondest memories are watching the tarantula hawks take out all the scary spiders that lived in our yard. You clearly don't understand what pain tolerance actually is. If his tolerance was unbelievably high he wouldn't react the way he does to these stings. Not passing out does not equal high tolerance.

Came across this video because I saw 2 tarantula hawks at my beehives yesterday and had never seen one before so I googled what they were. They were massive, like 10x the size of a bee
