Guy not wearing hearing protection or face shield, not backing the machine or stopping the grinder while he is near it. Awesome display of how to get yourself serious hurt or killed… thanks for the how not to operate a stump grinder.

Never seen a machine like this. Looks very efficiant, was this tree stump in your back area? How much would this machine cost if a normal consumer wanted one? Why did the fir dept come at the end?

The machine cost about 14k and it was a friend's yard. Happy Easter bro ❤️

What's the largest diameter stump you'd recommend grinding with the sc292? Is it mostly for softwoods?

  • @JohnAvantiBK

I believe it can grind out any stump. The larger the stump the more time it takes.

How long did it take you to grind the stump? Have you heard of chase roots? Someone wrote it on estimate. Is it like grinding roots?

I do want to ask do most people grind the front first? I find it quicker by grinding top part of the stump first so machine is on solid ground. Then I'll back up and Grind from The Edge forward. I prefer My Method because my machine will be on Solid Ground for the first part of the stump. It's just a question, I'm not saying he's wrong Maybe I'm Wrong. I Don't Know

Never realized rocks were such a problem. Seeing piles of rocks all over the yard would be a warning sign for overtime and damage to the equipment fee.

It is part of the trade some areas are rocky and some are sandy. That yard was a mess it's all clear and graded. Thanks for watching my friend.

Operator has no respect for the danger involved grinding stumps. Removing rocks w/wheel engaged is not a matter if an accident will happen.but a matter of when the accident will happen.
