Before you dive: -put engine on 30% -coordinate targets and flight direction after bomb release -dive over left or ring wing -air brakes out -release bombs ~700m (-maybe do a 2nd dive if you drop single) Then: -gather group in a circle to get back in formation, preferably out of AAA reach -fly home, drink Bier :3

Problem is Phly is going full fucking throttle when diving. I always dive bomb with stuka even in 6.7. Its great with the 1000KG bomb. I turn off my throttle and put air brakes on, then pull off with ease; it is very accurate as well. Also if he wanted to do the real tactic, u get behind the enemy lines, flip the plane and turn downwards almost like ur attacking ur mates but u dive bomb the enemy from behind and then pull off into your mates

The system had to be activated so it probably isn't modeled in war thunder, and also in RB the instructor trims the aircraft automatically, so trims out any effect from flaps or airbrakes.

he needs to go on full speed dive to active siren quickly

Yet when me and the boys do this these things happen 1: someone clips their wing on someone else and drags the boys down 2: one forgot how to activate his air brakes 3: one didn't get enough sp to spawn their Stuka 4: the weeb of the squad decides to kamikaze into a Soviet milk truck

and having the Maus be back in the tech tree would be nice. With the logic they used to remove the Maus the T95 doom turtle could get removed too. (I know there are more vehicles like this the Doom turtle was just the only thing i could think off)

370 ish km/h for the siren, I'm a stuka main and use it way too much. Btw, to not crash, idle engine and air break before diving. Pull up all the way, your wings won't break and you will only black out a little

There were Stukas that could turn their sirens on and off

When l play the Stuka l first drop the bomb on the target then l break off my gear on something and l become a fighter aircraft (scored 3 kills max)

I can hear Pe-8s Yelling *"MY TURN!"*

The Ground Troops must’ve been very happy to see a proper Stuka formation has arrived

This for some reason was one of my most favorite planes to play in early BR. It had okay controls and was a pretty sturdy plane and underestimated I think. Also the HE 112 was a blast, I got so good at turning with that plane I remember a battle in the mountains where I dived in to save an ally among 4 enemy planes swarming him and I ended up doing so many low level tricks and somehow SURVIVING it all! Someone commented that game "Dude how did you fly like that?!" I replied "Boos and spacing out!" man brought a smile to my face!

I used to do stuff like this on BF1 (but they weren’t stukas) just to give the guys on the ground more immersion

Have been waiting for this since 2015

God this brings me back to the early days of World War 2 Online (now Battleground Europe) and having formations of 50+ bombers with escorts flying against fighters and flak...awesome times

For a nice bombing, in the dive, just use 100% full flaps and airbrake and don't do it in 90º, 70º it's fine. The real stukas has an automatic pull up device, because the pilot get unconscious in the dive but not in the game.

Also, keep the throttle back a bit, DEFINITELY not on WEP. 30-60 is high enough. Also Phly drops a little late in this video, I'd say he should drop a little earlier

What I think with the Siren is that it only works after a certain speed, AND within a max altitude.. had it some in custom battles that it only started in low altitude

On the IL-2, perform the "fire carousel" maneuver, when the aircraft coming behind covers the tail in front of the one flying. At the same time, in turn, strike at a ground target.
