I give myself £60 a week, and it has wildly helped curb my impulse spending because I have money & aslong as it’s within that budget it’s fine. 😂 I do it weekly and in cash, so that I don’t have to keep track for more than 7days. Then whatever’s left note wise goes into my spending money sinking funds so I can chose to spend or save, and then my sinking funds for spending money are Etsy, Craft Supplies, Minatures and a few others but they’re just mini savings goals for things I spend a lot on but so that I don’t blow my whole spending money in one go 😂

Ira, you are so silly! I give myself a set amount in cash for my monthly spending, but I often go over that amount by using my debit card. I need to reign it in some.🌶️🌶️

Hi Ira. Just found your channel. You mentioned in one of your videos about saving as Self Care? It really spoke to me, that I am taking care of future-me. Saving can feel self-indulgent like shouldn't all extras go to groceries or fully fill the gas tank instead of partial to the next paycheck. Would love your thoughts.

I have been bad with my budget this month. I hope to get back on track next week. I usually spend with my debit card but I watch to make sure I don’t overspend, which I normally don’t do. 🌶️🌶️

🌶 I'm not a big spender, so don't actually give myself a spending amount ( maybe I should 😆 ) I put money into savings and challenges instead and then treat myself then. I spent years giving my wages to family/ household/ white goods etc, but now I am at the end of my working life I need to account for me

Ooohh… spending money? I give myself £30 a week.. which coincidentally makes £120 a month which just so happens to be sugar daddy price… yeah should probably add a bit more otherwise I’m always going to be under budgeting my money… It’s one of my downfalls, but I’m too scared to give myself extra, because don’t really earn enough to do it, but then I’m always having to borrow from my mum towards the end of the month so, when I get paid I’m gonna do more next month, just as a trial I think… None of your videos are “boring” bestie that’s why we watch them, you could sit there and talk about painting your fence and watching it dry all damn day and we’d all be invested… 🌶️
