9 Vs 63, 9 wins, 9 Vs 15, 15 wins to support the original creator for a few extra quid.

I wouldn't say it's hand made tbh whilst it is stolen it is just a binder with vinyl so she hasn't made the binder really ❤ she could have done the stickers all beautiful and for the price I'd want proprt vinyl numbers like the front ❤

You know what is the saddest thing about this, the Original Shop at the time of this comment has less than 400 sales. While this item is everywhere and that means likely the stolen design has sold more. Some of the drop shippers you find on Amazon or eBay has sold more than 400 sales; it's extremely sad 🖍

Ooo this was interesting! I absolutely love supporting small businesses that sell unique items that you can tell have had a lot of thought put into them. Unfortunately that purple binder, although really cute, can easily be duped. Which is super sad! It actually makes me furious when people/companies copy! The price of the original for how simple it is.. shocked me! 😱😱 it’s cute but I feel like the Amazon price is more realistic!

Ok it looks like I am the only one here to say I would be happy to buy the cheaper one. I could not justify the £55.00 difference and do not purchase from America because of the shipping cost. However that said, purchasing items from a UK small business is different. I have and do support the small business every time. I have only had one disappointing purchase and I did let that the business owner know and I have not purchased from them since. All my other purchases have been fabulous.

£60+ is out of my budget, so I’d probably not buy either. I’d want to support the original creator, and would feel bad if I got the copy. Having said that, I’ve probably bought copies in the past and not even realised there was an original creator out there.

I’ll be real honest I’m going with the Amazon version and here’s why $63 or so for one savings challenge is astronomical if the individual who did the knock off savings challenge can do it for nine bucks my question is why is somebody selling it eight times that amount? I’m certain that the quality and vibrancy of the product is going to be better from the original seller by all means and I’m sure it’s gonna be a little bit more of an elevated price not only because of the quality of it, but because as Etsy Seller, we are paying, a profit of our share to Etsy for everything that we sell so I know we can elevate our prices up a little bit but to have it completely inflated by eight times the amount I don’t know? I’ll be real honest as much as I do support other Etsy shops and absolutely love them, I’ve bought many things from you as well and gave them away on my channel, I’m definitely going with the Amazon version for what you showed in this video I rather would pay nine Dollarsthen over $60 for pretty much the same product

One product is priced because the original concept, design, and production took time to come up with. (It also had come from another country so had to include more postage, taxes and fees). The other is priced because they cut corners and just copied someone else’s work and therefore it doesn’t need to include these costs. (…and because it was bought off Amazon, it will almost certainly be via a drop shipping company, and originally from Temu or similar sweatshop.) Also… The parent company of Temu was fined, as it was a data broker for the Chinese government, so you are **probably** selling your data as part of any transaction with them too.

@@billiebluesheepie2907 I completely understand that and I know that a lot of Etsy shops actually order their items from either Temu, Alibaba or even other places that actually get their products from China! So Etsy shop owners are already selling their information basically by giving over the personal information, including Payment, credit card numbers, address, and everything else. i’m in Etsy Seller as well, but I don’t buy things from China. I actually purchased within the United States and I do understand that a lot of our products do come from China, but I’ve never had an issue with my items that I know of being tagged by my information given out. Unfortunately, living in United States. Our private information is already leaked. Who knows how many times which is kind of scary. those who do buy off of Temu, Alibaba, other sites that actually get their products from China directly they already got their information and that’s scary. But as I said, probably everybody’s information United States is already leaked to China as it is and other foreign countries, which is never good but what can we do about it. I understand that they have to wait time for items to be shipped because they’re buying mass quantities and bulk from these other countries to make their products super cheap and then sell them for a much higher price! I also know that time and development and all the other things are really time-consuming, but buy some thing that you can make for five dollars and turn around and sell it for 60 that’s kind of price gouging in a cents, but I do understand that people need to make a profit and I understand supply and demand and I understand. Also the Etsy takes a portion percentage of all of all of each one of our sales on Etsy!

I brought a purple and a orange one off temu both had stickers already on the envelopes the purple was printed but the orange one you could feel the lettering on the cover . They both cost me under a tenner ( for both) . The stickers were badly fixed and cheap looking and envelopes double sided. But for the price if on a budget it works

Being where I live, shipping is crazy. I see so much I want, but sometimes shipping is more than the product I want, so it's a nope for me so yes, I have got things off Amazon/ Aliexpress as it's way cheaper. Binders are a good one for that.

I’d definitely go for the original even if it costs a lot more. Lilac is such a nicer colour and such and when it’s handmade it’s usually a better quality. So the Etsy original one is what I’d go for! 🖍️

Knowing what you’ve just told me I wouldn’t buy either. I wouldn’t want to pay that much on shipping but I also wouldn’t want to support the cheap rip off. I’d probably buy something completely different like an iris binder.

🖍️🖍️ I love to support small businesses! I just think that when business get big they start treating customers as just a number & I hate feeling like a number 🫣🫣. I have watched countless videos of budgeting & savings challenges & feel like the creator is talking a mile a minute & showing savings challenges like they’re going out of style, which is hard for me to comprehend or understand why their stuffing 65 sinking funds 🫣 & here I am just a beginner. I think that’s why I relate to Ira. He has helped me in both my budging & savings challenges & I honestly don’t think I could have started my journey without him!! In conclusion & this is just my opinion. Yes the shipping costs is definitely high, but so is everything else in the world & we just got to keep our heads held high, smile & remember to make someone else day brighter! 🤗🤗 Keep going Ira, I totally love your vision & your enthusiasm of your creations cuz you make me wanna budget & save for my future!! Also a big congrats on nearly making 10 k!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Some hand made things are way out of my budget. While I love Jasmine in Baddies and budgets her prices are crazy when you factor in conversion rates and shipping. I've also found her less and less relatable However I'm not going to support a business that blatantly rips off another small businesses 🖍

I would probably spend more and support the small business. Big business is all about getting your 💲 and not caring about customer service. I’m will to pay more for good quality items and I will save for them. 🖍️
