Only alternative is to find different ways to recycle & reuse plastic & thermocol. These r non- biodegradable & the largest cause of pollution . Disposable plates cups spoons, Toothbrush, Toothpaste tubes, Electrical wires & units, Household appliances, Wrappers n fillings of electronics & so many other things - all have plastic & thermocol , Plastic & thermocol are deeply integrated into human lives & almost impossible to get rid of. So best solution is to repurpose

We do not need international help. We as the people under one ☝️ nation should have at-least some care for our environment surrounding us. Yes 🙌 we need to highly educate our people to not litter anything, but instead trash/recycle it. The government should implement some laws in which littering is banned and a up charge of some BTD (currency). They should also host clean up 🧼 programs to clean the littered side streets of old Dhaka. The government should also implement to teach kids especially in school about our environmental needs. This will have a great 👍 effect on our pollution.

The biggest source of plastic waste is from packaged processed foods. When I was a kid, juice came in cartons or frozen. Dry cleaning was folded in paper with twine. Milk came in cartons. Eggs came in paper cartons. Sodas were cans or large plastic bottles. Plastics were less common in the 80's.
