It depends on what you are studying. I live in the UK and my friend who is Malaysian has to pay £19,000 per year for the three years of her Psychology Degree. That's just the tuition fees. They expect to see living expenses of a further £6,000 per year. You may also be required to take an "Enhanced IELTS" test which is different to the normal IELTS test by being approved by the British Government. Be careful and check with the institution you are interested in to find out exactly what is required to gain entry and how much you need in your bank account before you apply for your visa. If you make a mistake and your visa is turned down it will make it very difficult to apply again successfully. The British government says it wants to attract the best students from all over the world but over the last few years changes to immigration policy has made it harder and harder for international students to study here.
