Hey, just wanted to say I’m from the UK and I totally relate to what you are going through with nightmare neighbors at uni! They were so noisy and inconsiderate of others and I could never sleep. I wish I had had a flat mate like you! I wasn’t suited to UK uni lifestyle and dropped out after 6 weeks, now I am doing an Open university degree online living at home and feel so much better for it. You are not alone ❤ xxxx

😢 First of all, sorry for all the nonsense you have to endure...while I've had my fair share of awful dorm experiences (notably, brainless kids who thought stealing my doormat and moving it to another floor in the building is a funny joke), having to deal with unhelpful and lowkey uncooperative building staff is unimaginably frustrating. I'm glad that you are documenting this via your vlogs, because it will protect you if things ever escalate - but knock on wood! Your positive mindset and letting things go because the nonsense is not worth your time is admirable. You're already dealing a lot with embarking on a new academic challenge for your future away from home, but the additional stressors being thrown at you...BIG HUGS! I've been following your content for a while now because you're inspirational to a homebody like myself. It's great that you are unafraid to go out an explore, eat alone, and live such a diligent life. Best wishes to you and definitely keep intaking that collagen! I'd imagine the stressors are not good when it comes to aging... P.S. #1 -- highly recommend getting a jar/pack of Mack's earplugs...they were my saving grace (I'm a light sleeper and also very sensitive to noise...especially brainless kids who have no respect for other people) P.S. #2 -- as someone who was a bio major, don't get discouraged! When you think about it, biology is the synthesis of chem, physics and other sciences (which you feel like you're better at grasping). Bio requires a lot of rote memory, but things also click better when you understand the fundamental processes and how they relate. I think our studying methods are similar -- I also liked to make outlines (handwritten) to summarize textbook readings + lectures to better conceptualize everything. It's a lot of work, but will pay off!

Oh @deemd I feel so sorry for you ! Had the same experiences in UK university while studying so needed up just renting my own studio. It was much more expensive but no drama of people being horrible and taking your stuff. Hope you are doing well and I love all your blogs! Been here since day one ! I had quite the same experience living in a student hall in the UK. Since the dorm has so many international students, there has been different standards for everyone. Luckily when some of us reported to the resident team, they responded it so well. But then I moved out to live in a private flat and it is better that way.
