Study Abroad Packing Essentials + Tips

Ойын-сауық

Hey guys-
In this video I'm going over everything I found really helpful to pack while abroad for 4 months, and what I didn't use as much. I'm finishing up my semester in northern France, but this list is pretty applicable to long-term travel in general. Feel free to leave any questions below!!

9:15 I also would recommend to have a digital version of those documents on your google drive, dropbox, one drive or whatever online storage, because as you said, in case of an accident, a fire or anything else, al least you have it online and you can have access to it wherever you are

Yeah very useful , i’m going to study in Ireland next months and i like to add some things to your video. For all students like us... Do not bring all your cloths and shoes . And just carry some clothes for the current season and the first days of the next one! Also do not carry body sprays or too much colognes !

You're right, some things you cannot find in France and vice versa. I bought a simple cleanser and moisturizer for sensitive skin when I got there, and then shampoo/conditioner/body wash didn't matter to me too much if it was different. I bought my toiletries like that at the grocery store!

  • @hannahparrish4125

Hi! Clear expectations before leaving, having a set time to talk each day or week so you don’t have to worry about constantly updating the other person during crazy schedules and time zones, and trusting that there is an end to the long distance and you’ll be reunited soon!!! It was really sad at times but ultimately made our relationship stronger.

What a great video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
