Hi! I’m going to Italy this fall semester. Could you go more in-depth about weekend trips and planning flights? Did you go alone, when did you plan them? Did you plan them with new friends you made?

hiii yes!!! i booked my flights on omio and flew with the airline called ryanair! i didn’t do any solo trips but some of my friends did! i planned all my trips after i got to italy and went with the friends that i met there! hope that helped!!

How much money did you have for the semester?

honestly i just chose fall because i wanted to go as soon as possible and that was the soonest option haha! i really liked the fall! it was super pretty and the weather was really nice! i think either semester would be great though. i don’t think it would make much of a difference either way!

hey!! how does it work with picking an apartment to live in? or is it assigned totally random?

it's completely random, but all the apartments were in the city center walking distance from each other and from school! I got to see a few of the other AIFS apartments, and they were all really nice!

So does that mean I wouldn’t have to apply to an university in Italy since aifs has its own schooling?

right, you just have to apply to the aifs program and all your classes will be through them!
