Studio Vlog - Week 1 || Behind the scenes as a knitwear designer
Trying something a little new. Here's a little snippet of my week. The knitting, the pattern writing, the frogging and the rambling.
I'd love to keep sharing these, so let me know your thoughts!

My husband walked by while you were showing the Kip(?) sweater and he's already requested one. The texture on it is really beautiful.
I enjoyed this glimpse into your designing. Some great looking knits coming!
It's fun -- and inspiring -- to see you at work. Thanks!
Thank you for the lovely podcast and interesting details regarding your two designs. Take care ❤😊
what an inspiration you are. love the oatmeal colored sweater the pattern is beautiful. this format is great
I still want to test that Kip sweater. Looks so good, and I know you need a male tester.. just saying.
You are so productive. You must be blessed with an abundance of energy! This was fun to follow along with you.
That was so inspiring!! Just the way you steal 10 mins here and there! It's made me look at what I do with my free 10 mins. It's also fascinating looking at your designs as they come into life, its like a glimpse into your brain. You're so generous for sharing this with us! I've knitted a couple of jumpers out of Ulysses, it's so soft and squishy, beautiful to touch. Looking forward to the next installment🐑
Love this peek behind the scenes. I’ve got a 3rd Tolsta on the needles now, and excited to hear you are adding long sleeve version. Looking forward to your new designs coming out. 😊
The collar and the stitch pattern on the Kip are excellent!!
Nice new format. Really interesting how you create and plan and see your knitting-addiction that gives us so many beautiful patterns. Curious about the kip-sweater.
I love this vlog format, you are so amazingly active, congrats !
This was great, Rebecca! But, then, I love all your content. The two new patterns are beautiful - love the oatmeal herringbone (Kip?), and I’m not usually a big fan of a lot of texture; the blue ribbed split neck with polo collar is amazing - I have a similar one (store bought) that’s sleeveless in white that I wear all the time. Also, I’m so looking forward to the release of your “modified” Tolsta patterns - can’t wait!
That was great❤❤❤❤
Nice to see what you’re up to! Lovely projects 💞
That was a fun video! I'm working on my first Tolsta Tee. So far, so good...well, I've only finished the neckband but it looks great! 😄 Always look forward to your videos, and they're unfailingly enjoyable. 😊
U certainly cram a lot into your days Keep designing Loads great patterns 👍🏻
Loved it! You work so hard Rebecca!
i think the double knitting neck band needs to be done with a single strand, i hope after blocking it relaxes a bit. but the pattern looks like a new cast on for me in the future!!
The sweater you’re frogging in the opening with the sort of herringbone pattern is the one I’ve been waiting on. Did you call it the Kip sweater? ❤️
Fabulous! Love your projects. What was in the cocktail?
Enjoyed this Rebecca and would love to see more videos like it - just a shame that your day job interferes with your knitting and designing life 😂
You motivate me 😂😊
I think you should call it Crail 😊
What is your “day job?”
