I can't do "to-do" lists because they stress me out and put me in a bad mood. But I discovered I can do "done" lists. Whenever I do something productive, I write it down and at the end of the day I can look back at what I accomplished but never have to feel down about unchecked "to-dos". It lets me be creative through the day to think "what can I do now that I could write down?"

Todo list add-in, absolutely! It's an important , mental health requirement, because every single small accomplishment we note (from washing to completing major tasks) helps us feel accomplished and proud and these happy feelings, increase dopamine neurotransmitters, which essentially help us think clearly, create and plan which all keep us moving forward in productive, joy-filled ways.

I 100% add tasks I’ve already done just to cross them off. It just gives me a little sense of satisfaction lol

Yes! I add things to my planner that I have done that weren't already planned ahead of time, just to check them off and feel accomplished! lol I am so glad that I am not alone. I literally did this earlier today and wondered to myself if others do the same!

I add stuff to cross it off because it's good for my mental health. Instead of looking at a bunch of stuff I didn't do, and feeling like I had an unproductive day, I compromise with myself by showing that I did do things, and even if it wasn't what I had on my list, it only wasn't there because I had forgotten (which ia a good reason to put it on the list) or I'm procrastinating. But when it's something that needed to be done anyway, procrastinating or not, I *was* productive, so I deserve that confirmation of success. I deserve to be able to go back and see that I didn't fail that day, and it makes me feel less bad about carrying some things over to the next day. Also, when I look back on the day, I can see that "oh I did have my shower yesterday, and not a few days ago. That means I don't have to have one today if I'm not up to it. The biggest reason though, for why I add stuff later just to check them off is because of how society views disabled people. I feel intrinsically guilty when I don't do anything in a day. Billions of psopls pay taxes so that I can live and I feel like if I just lay around and do nothing all the time (regardless of the fact that I'm often in way too much pain to do anything) as though I'm a drain on society. So when I make my chore lists, on the days I'm feeling well enough to do anything, the added things to check easily is my way of kind of proving to myself and the world, later on that I _did_ do something that day, even if I wasn't well enough, or to tired to, or just wasn't able for whatever reason, to do what I had set out to.

And yes, I DO add completed tasks to my list for the satisfaction of crossing it off, LOL. My order arrived this week and I absolutely love everything! The tapes, stickers, the print, and OMG that Monstera pin is so adorable I'm tempted to order more, LOL. The 'thank you' print with the adorable bunny was a perfect choice for me since I am such an animal lover. I have it hanging up already! I absolutely do that but I also use part of my planner like a journal and keep things I did that weren’t planned to. I love going back through my old planners and remembering things I forgot.

Yes, sometimes I do add the little things in my planner that I've already done. I love the feeling of crossing it off my to-do list. Although, I am not that consistent with my planner, I love writing my to-do lists.

I think it’s good to add things on to your to do list them cross them off, gives a more accurate picture of what you’ve done.

Ooo i do it, but on purpose. 😅 I make a list for house work along side business obligations for my office. Step by step to get things done. List helps me stay focus on the goals at hand. So i schedule if it is an hour (10 minutes for each task) in the evening or all day on the weekends (20 minutes to 30 minutes for each task). Ideally. I always mix it up. 😅
