So obviously theres the big themes that people recommend like Hikari, Lamia, last resort, etc. However, I'm just gonna say that even the patch trailers ost go just as hard and deserve a listen. Some personal favorites and recommendations are Shattered Doll, Spiral of Chronos, Exorcism, and Ascending. They are shorter than say the boss tracks since they are made for a trailer, but man they go hard.

You really nailed the direct influence of Nier in all of Punishing Gray Raven.

"...this thing reminds me of the type of choir you hear on Nier Automata..." Funny that you say that, because this song is heavily inspired by that exact game, whilst also having a chance to actually collabed with it. You should react more to the songs of PGR, "Last Resort" is the one that i would recommend the most, personally.

"Chance" They actually did tho, Nier automata x PGR collab is like 4 years old at this point lol. Based Yoko Taro collabing with a small gacha game inspired by his game.

Greetings as someone who's actively playing this game. Hope you checkout other Soundtracks made by Vanguard Sound Studio because they do not miss at all. Also, try the game! It is a bit slow at first but it does get better! This song is Considered by the PGR Community as our National Anthem because this was this song came out along with the release of the first patch of this game. Also, Kuro Games openly said that this game was inspired by Nier. Heck, They even had a Collab.

Please continue down this amazing rabbit hole of an OST! Last Resort and To Our Destiny our my top recommendations.

great, PGR national anthem 😂. I hope you give the game a try because the 2nd anniversary is around the coner so you will get plenty reward from the game. The story start slow but after chapter 8, it just get crazier.
