An excellent, multi-layered, witty take on a classic favourite of mine. Thanks.
I am back here to watch this again. 😢 what a jam
Great!
Now that’s an all star band. Maybe the best of the Studio Jams series.
Bela fleck is one cool cat
Feeling the rhythm section

Is he related to Bena Fleck?
interesting groove. we're just playing this chart in our small group jazz this term as well. great tune.
Seems to me that the main surprise and interest come from bela Fleck .With that different tuning compared to a guitar he gives fresh lines and terrific arpeggios .

Weakest player in the session. Tentative and definitely undynamic.
RICKY BRAUN IN THA HOUSE!!!
How about that look on Pat's face just after 6:00 when he misses the hit coming out of his solo

wasn't sure exactly what part the question was referring to lol. But its the most appropriate scale for most of the song in terms of the most diatonic choice (except over the Dbmaj7 chord where the D would clash and F Aeolion would be more diatonic). If there's a specific lick that was the subject of the question post the time and I'll give my two cents!

Wow...idek what an aotolian is
Good fun, but it’d be nice to have a tenor sax on an Eddie Harris piece.
Sounds a lot like Red Baron.
pat martino e' estremamente noioso con le sue scale a lungo andare lo ascolti solo 10 minuti
