We went around campus and asked students tips on how they deal with stress!

    To any college students I’m sure you’ve heard of the saying “manage your time” but it’s very important when you feel stressed. I have taken three semesters so far and stress for me usually happens at the very beginning when the class is brand new and you feel bombarded instantly. If you manage your time, you should have at least one grace period of relaxation from that subject and it’s good to move it around when needed. Also sometimes it just takes getting use to, if it’s hard at the beginning, breathe, take breaks, eventually get it done (on time) and calm yourself. And if you end up with a bad grade from that assignment like a D or an F, it’s happened to everyone just carry on. Just know no matter what happens, you’ll be okay in life :)

    Clean your room and your workspace. Big tip. It really helps me to have your surroundings cleaned up untouched and the only thing to worry about is to do the homework on your clean desk. Have a big calendar wit write all your assignments. Have them color coded. One class could be green when the other is pink. Don’t have the same color scheme it will mess you up big time. The exams will be written on post it’s or on red expo marker nothing else. The fun thing is to set your study time in thirty minutes and five minute breaks at a time. Write down the dates on the calendar as “rest day” nothing else. Best to eat before doing homework. You can cancel time with friends they will understand if they don't they are not your friends. Take a shower before studying or doing a project or an essay. Do the easy thing first because if wait on the last minute the easy will turn into a hard assignment. Invest invest invest invest invest in EXTRA CREDIT. Good luck.

    A lot of great tips and feedback here! Meditation definitely can help. I have struggled with anxiety my whole life and started making short meditation exercises (about 7-10 minutes long) that I would love to share with you.

    Dude I’m stressed about the fucking exams. The only way to fix it is by literally not giving a fuck….stress is natural…and btw I’m here cuz I’m literally sweaty scared and stressed about tomorrow’s exam

    I’ve learned recently that if you study really hard for the exam then there is no need to stress. If you put in the work then you don’t need to worry in other words. If you studied like half of what you we’re supposed to or barely studied at all then yes STRESS. My point, study so fucking hard, that you literally have nothing to worry about, all you got to do is show up.
