Cops are glorified mall security guards, which mostly act as a presence to divert crime away from the immediate site. The larger the jurisdiction, the more they are bound by state laws/mandates, which affects their ability to deescalate/stop immediate threats. Having a firearm(s) for self defence and a coordinated plan with family/neighbours/tight knit community /armed posse would be more ideal

I told them that he was "the worst college teacher I have ever had at any time at this university. I never knew what he wanted or what he was trying to say." This is an embarrassment for me as a Texan/mom for something like this to be going on is ridiculous! I am so proud of this young man in how he handled this with so much respect to his teacher!

Man, I had these type of lecturers when I was in college - constantly imposing their personal views on us. In every assignment I did, I molded my paper on what I thought would go down well with them even though I knew it was a slap in the face for impartiality. Ultimately, I got top marks throughout my time in college but looking back now I realise just how irresponsible these professors were.

This kid exudes confidence and leadership. I’m glad to know there are young people like him out there today. Hopefully this will spark others who are silenced to speak out against the leftist agendas.

I mean I think it’s fair that folks are skeptical of cops is fair (they’ve certainly earned skeptism) but attacking someone for calling them heroes is grossly unfair. The cops that follow the laws and do what they’re supposed to ARE heroes and they do hard work. She was very unprofessional.

I will be raising my son to be nothing like this young man. We are in a sad state, this man said “ who do you call when someone has a knife or a gun?“ You call the United States Constitution and about 16 of your friends. That’s who you call. We are being infantilized and emasculated as men. Police are not heroes, they are agents whose primary job is to collect revenue for the state. For a grown man to raise a son, for that son to grow up to believe that police are heroes is child abuse. That sun should be raised to believe that he is the hero, we men, community leaders are the heroes protectors of families, life, and property. What’s wrong with this country?

There is no right direction here. Just two people with different opinions. The police arent perfect, they shoot dogs and kneel on necks and cover their own asses. Her distrust is fairly placed, hopefully she has learned to defend herself if she chooses not to utilize their services.

This young man deserves our support. Hope she cannot punish his disagreements by dinging his grades. That is what they do so often.

Good for him… looking back at this in July 2021, I cannot appreciate this more! In a time where this action cannot be fathomed, my faith in humanity has been restored because of people like him. He should be a prime example for everyone like him who goes through this, believe me, I was one of the students whose teachers looked for those “gotcha” moments. I hope he goes into politics; he’s very well spoken for a young age and I’d gladly vote for him!
