I keep coming back to this whenever I feel stuck, it’s not like this is gonna help solving my problem, it’s more of an inspiration to me to work harder.

Absolutely lovely animation. Visual interest was so high throughout the whole piece. I'll be using this as a reference for future motion graphic videos!
AWESOME - from the script to the visuals... just b e a u tiful
Excellent animation - both type and graphics. Very inspirational. I will bookmark this video to visit again and again. I hope the winner continues to make motion graphics videos like these...
I didn't hear a word the guy said, cause I was so caught up with the motion graphics.
Wow just watching this. Love this piece so much
Such a great work! Well done!

it's basically all just trim paths and stroke reveals, theres some regular transform keyframe animation in there too for the text, also spotted a little bit of MisterHorse's Animation Composer preset animations, if you break it down it's pretty simple to accomplish. Just time consuming

Hey, thanks! For the competition brief, the audio was actually the only thing we were given. I think it's a recording from a lecture or talk. I agree though.

@@DPalmerMotion I actually think the imperfection of the sound is part of what makes it good. It makes it feel real. Not overproduced.
Anyone has an idea what software was used for this animation.
what's the name of font ? thankyou
For someone who knows what they're doing, how long does it take to make a video like this? From developing the script and storyboard, to designing the animations, sound, and the final editing of everything? Can someone who knows what they're doing do all of this in under 24 hours worth of work?
@meskahmusic

no way under 24 hours, think of a week at least
@MarketAndChurch

I was thinking the same, but I was hoping that using(and reusing/recycling) templates from past projects could help cut down on the time. I think you're right though, and I'm being way too optimistic going for 24 hours.
@MarketAndChurch

Yeah, I think you're right. If one can get the script and storyboard out of the way, and not worry about the sound editing, I think someone who knows what they're doing could take on the animation part in maybe 3 days. Likely more, but 3 days is also possible.

Never forget, script and storyboard (most important stuff) can be incredibly time consuming if you wanna get an eye-catching project
@YousufUqaili

I have done kinetic typography before and can confirm. This would've taken WAY longer than 3 days to make. There is such a variety of effects that can't be made from modifying assets or templates. A lot of these were made from the ground up. Must've been made in a team of at least 2-4.
Wow...man
wow

Adobe Illustrator + After Effects + Premiere Pro (and maybe even Adobe Media Encoder too). You can do it all in just AE but it would get very tedious.

@GDBOYFilms

+12XFactor actually without the techniques, effects, key framing (etc) in this video, it would be very dull. The illustrations are nothing special, but the way it is animated is what I am interested in. So yeah I would love a tutorial but that probably won't happen on this channel.

Practice working with shape layers (loads of tuts on this). Practice working with the graph editor (loads of tuts). Then try to recreate just a few seconds of this. Then finally make your own thing. It won't look as good as this but keep practicing, share your work, get critique. You just need AE and AI.
