​@@nicholasdunbar3378 Just wanna add something. If all nodes have even numbers of paths, you can start from anywhere and complete it as long as you are careful. If there are 2 nodes that have odd number of paths, start at one of the node that has odd number of paths and end in the other. If it has 1 or 3 or more amount of nodes that has an odd number of paths then no matter the route you won't cover all paths

Там много вариантов. Общее правило начинать и заканчивать в точках с нечётным количеством лучей. Если их больше 2х, задача нерешаема.

This is quite simple. Its called an euler path. Exactly two points must have an odd number of edges, and the rest of the points must have an even number of edges, if the above condition is satisfied, start at one of the two mentioned points, don't finish all the edges at the other point too early, you will always find a path ending at the other point.

The only thing that needs to be added to that explanation is that even if you start at one of the "odd" points, you can still fail. That is if you fill in the last line of the other "odd" point, before finishing the rest of the lines. Since the other "odd" point should be your end point. An example of this is the first try in the video. She started at an "odd" point, but finished all possible lines adjacent to the end point before doing the rest of the figure. :))

well if you look at it from a mathematician perspective it is fairly easy: In graph theory there is a theorem that states that there is an eulerian path (a trail in a finite graph that visits each of the edges exactly once) if and only if there are 0 or 2 vertexes with odd degrees (degree of a vertex is the number of edges coming out of this vertex), therefore you may conclude that the best way to start such a path is by starting it in a vertex with odd degree, than moving to the next vertex and each time "removing" the edge you just passed, and every time keep the graph with 0 or 2 even degrees. As you can see in the last one's trail, this is what he did. Good luck 🙂

There’s a formula for this literally taught in high school basically math lol. It’s possible to traverse if theres 2 or less “odd nodes”. Node being a point and it being odd or even is defined by how many lines it’s connected to. One line? Odd. 2? Even. If 0 are odd start from any node. If 1 is odd start from the odd node. If 2 are odd start from one odd node and finish on the second odd node. 3 or more odd nodes and it’s impossible.

Figured this out in 3 seconds just as I stepped upon it 😅

This is euler line bro because it has exactly 2 odd vertice ❤❤

Actually, it is a closed Euler line, where you have to select one of the odd-numbered vertices and start from there to the other odd-numbered vertex
