I was thinking the same thing watching then into view there it was.

Love seeing the Lehigh Valley. Brings back memories both grandfathers worked for the valley. Most of it now a rail trail

Ashland needs a ramp for these occasions.

That Revy bear must have been the one that got hit by a car last year. He was definitely looking both ways as he was crossing the street. Normally our bears would be fast asleep already but so far winter has taken a rain check.🇨🇦

How people keep on mistaking train tracks for a road,I have no clue. Never have I ever thought of going on them while going across a crossing.

At Jonesborough, the 'Carolina Coastal Railway' was good to see and read-up about, especially with their GP15s. Same for NPBL at Roanoke - another Railroad to look-up. Some good Freight Roster catches including one of my Accurail FMC Hoppers at Roanoke. Elkhart @10:30 - love the sounds from those two EMDs.

I swear with all the cars and trucks trying to drive down the tracks there must be an app telling drivers: "In 50 feet turn onto railroad tracks, get stuck, damage your vehicle and pay a huge towing fee". Duh, o.k. Alexa!

To quote the Extra 2200 South,magazine,Penn Central was a 13D paint scheme,with no imagination! Still looks bad,even now! Oh,yes,the PC logo,had the nickname of mating 🪱worms!! From the very first crossing, Revelstoke bear was always very good about avoiding traffic, what's up with last night and why the cliffhanger from VRF...? You can count on at least .75 Darwin /day at Wayx...heh heh heh.

Been a while since we have had a knucklehead on the tracks in Ashland.

Always good to see Revy Bear, and we won't get to do it too much longer till spring. Loved the deer, the steam engine, and oh man, that bridge in Burlington--it was gorgeous. Fort Madison is always fun too. But I'll bet the drivers stuck at the crossing in LaGrange wish *they* could push a button like you do and make the trains go 5 times as fast lol! Another great one!!

Wasn't their a show called Malcolm in the Middle, Maybe that's his name, You really can't get much closer to the middle than that but a Train i am certain would help this person get off the tracks no problem, The vehicle will probably be a fair bit shorter though. Hope you got an Airbag. Really nice Video, Loved the Action, Some really nice Trains. Cool Stuff.

Funny how the bear takes the same path across the street and behind the same house. Must be a food source back there. I would be the poor soul that goes out to empty the trash just as he makes his visit and I would rapidly hope I could float to get away from him. Very predictable path for him.

Given that the bear had a young bear in tow earlier this year, I suspect Revy is a she.

Maybe the city needs to put a ramp at the intersections in Ashland so cars that do get stuck between the track can back out without going over the drop off. I can;t understand why people continue to pull on the tracks there

When are they going to put barrier gates across the tracks to prevent cars from turning onto the tracks? It is such an easy fix.

Whether that would be a workable idea or not since that would block the tracks most of the time when the trains have the right of way would be an extra complication that might not be advisable. The main concern would be where would the funding come from to pay for what would be doubling+ the cost of gate protection at all grade crossings. You might want to check up on the cost of a single crossing gate installation and also, just as important, it's average maintenance cost each year. That makes it NOT so easy a fix.
