Wow this is incredibly sad.

I get that they were sick of people they knew begging for money but this is really heartbreaking. I wish they’d shown a little more compassion. But I don’t know the situation. They knew better than I do.

Honestly, it's a little rich of Lennon who had been on and off heroin a couple of times to point out that Mrs Sutcliffe was an alcoholic, as if her plight was a moral failing.
