Health issues that Oz and I have been having. I can’t see (out of one eye) and Oz can’t hear (out of one ear). I thought it would be cool to have a song relating to that:-) So glad you like it man! Love ya buddy! Happy birthday to the misses🙌

Michael it appears that that well is in no danger of running dry! Simply amazing that you can continuously generate the quality you have churned out in the last 10+ years. I used to get teased for being a Stryper fan, but these days I tease people for NOT being Stryper fans... Love it man!

This song is a masterpiece. This is not a written song. This is a carefully crafted, molded, sculpted and constructed song and it shows 🤘 If Stryper had those past four albums in the 80's they would have ruled the decade! I'm happy they're still rocking! And Happy Birthday to your wife 🎂

Happy belated birthday to your wife. I am so happy to see Stryper putting out such great work. I remember back in the 80s when people would talk shit about Stryper and say that they would never last. Look at them now, 30+ years later and releasing some of their greatest material to date.

I stopped listening to these guys after their apex in the late 80s because they lost a lot of their original band members. Now they have 3 of the 4 originals back. I'm a drummer, and while I loved Robert back in the day, he has completely progressed as a rock drummer. Gone are the 12 inch deep snare drums. I love his sound now. Waiting for the full album to drop!

This may be my favorite Stryper song of all time! I love the Dio sound that is in this song! It's almost like Michael knew you were going to say he couldn't hit the high notes anymore, that high scream is one of his best and he holds it in to the next chorus! Stryper has been one of my favorite bands since the 80s and these albums of late are mind blowing! Great review, I enjoy watching you react to the same stuff that I do.

🙀 Happy Birthday to your wife. I love this new song. They hit on my favorite gallop speed. The guitars remind me of some earlier sounds but then again, I guess it's Stryper's all time signature tone that I've come to love that I'm hearing. If that's going to be the album cover, I like it. I wonder how many picked up on the fact that the Globe, I believe is also an eye, possibly reptilian or not. And for those that did not know "Isaiah 53:5" (by his strips we are healed), the strips being the whipping he took. I hope the boys physically improve and get to feeling better. Thanks Leigh for the reaction.

Would it be against the law to say I don’t like this song? Just kidding-the devil made me do it but I say to hell with the devil, I can like every Stryper song if I want to! I do believe this sounds like those soldiers are under command again. It’s undeniable. Even the devil believes. But he won’t admit the truth because he’s fallen. I can’t wait for the new album to hit. The excitement makes me feel reborn. As a matter of fact, I eagerly fork over my dough because each new Stryper album is another reminder there’s no more hell to pay. Take that saa-tannn! It’s in God we trust and in Stryper we rock! And, yeah...this song is worthy for the battle. I wanna say it reminds me a little bit of the band Rainbow, but mostly this attacks in yellow and black. God Bless and Metal On, Stryper! By His stripes we are healed. 🤟

As I said before I like the sound of the vocal, but except for " the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak" and " see no evil, hear no evil" I've listen to it several times and I can't make out the enuncuation of the words. Sounds great, but yeah have no clue what he's saying. Now my headphones only work on one side right now, but I could understand Rise to the call, and Tansgressor. Like Yellow Ledbetter sounds good saying it, don't know what he's saying. The enunciation not clear. Sounds like he said " Sister don't you know" but I doubt that's what he's saying. Lol Good song though.

I’ve been a huge Stryper fan since 85 but didtreally care for the song. The pace of the chorus kinda ruined the song for me. On a positive note, Robert’s drumming on the 2 new songs really seem heavier than I’ve ever heard from him! Bass drum sounds heavier, really like it!!!

I think there are a few things off and disjointed in this song and that initially turned me off but after a couple more listens, I've decided to focus on the many TOTALLY AWESOME aspects to it and am definitely looking forward to the album. One thing I might suggest Michael Sweet do in future projects (with and without Stryper) is to try and fit the lyrics (verses) in with the song better. A lot of them lately seem to just be shoehorned and/or slammed in there and it just detracts from the overall experience, IMO. An example of what I'm looking for is Do Unto Others and Make Love Great Again and an example of what I'm critiquing are for the verses on songs like this one, Middle Finger Messiah, and even Yahweh, to some degree.
