You're in our part of the country now - glad you liked it! We have trouble with dogs every other season - we have some that come on our property to chase the gobblers out of the field - they know where the gobblers strut, and they like to flush them like it is some kind of game

I just got back from Missouri on a turkey hunting trip. I've never hunted in Missouri, but always heard about how great it is for turkey hunting. The landscape is beautiful and looks like it was designed specifically for the wild turkey. It may well be the best habitat in the United States. Love it up there and wish I could make it home for a month during turkey season.

@@dscottperry glad you liked it! I think you are correct about "designed for turkeys" - Missouri was one of the last places turkeys could be found in the early 1900s and ended up supplying them to many other states for their restocking programs
That first bird was a heartbreaker
I would have bet ten dollars to a donut that you would have got that first turkey!!! The dogs are getting to be a bigger problem now
In Indonesia they say dog meat is pretty good catman ! Don't leave the woods empty handed . 😅😂😂

My neice lets their dogs run loose alot. I have them many times on my trailcam.
