എന്റെ വലിയ ആഗ്രഹം ആയിരുന്നു ഒരു ജോലി. ഞാൻ ജോലി കഴിഞ്ഞുവരുമ്പോ നീ ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ ശെരിയാവില്ല, മോളെ ആരു സ്കൂളിൽ പറഞ്ഞയകും നീ ഇല്ലേൽ ഒന്നും നടക്കില്ല എന്ന ഡയലോഗ് കേൾക്കുമ്പോ വേണ്ട വിചാരിക്കും. വീടിന് മുമ്പിലുടെ സ്ത്രീകൾ ജോലിക് പോകുന്നത് കൊതിയോടെ നോക്കിനിൽക്കനെ കഴിയു. സ്വന്തമായി ഒരു വരുമാനം ഇല്ലാത്തതിന് പലപ്പോഴും സങ്കടം തോന്നിയിടുണ്ട്. ഇഷ്ടപെട്ട വസ്ത്രം കഴിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹമുള്ള food ഒരുപാട് ഇഷ്‌ടമുള്ള ചോക്ലേറ്റ് എല്ലാം ഭർത്താവിന്റെ സാമ്പത്തികത്തിന് മുമ്പിൽ മനസ്സിൽത്തന്നെ കുഴിച്ചുമൂടി. ആവിശ്യമുള്ളത് hus വാങ്ങിത്തരും. എന്നാലും നമ്മളെ കൈയിലെ പണം എടുത്ത് വാങ്ങിക്കുമ്പോ ഉള്ള ഫ്രീഡം കിട്ടില്ല.. പല ഇഷ്‌ടങ്ങളും വേണ്ടന്ന് വെക്കേണ്ടി വരും

People change after marriage. Initially boys will promise to work n share work equally but after marriage they will say their work is so hard, how difficult it is, how tired they are etc to get out of house work. They will even stay late in office simply to get out of house work. Life is not easy for women.

Excellent topic most of the married women go through all these only husband support can make a difference.I was also not working for 7 years looking after my kids just now resumed to work.

Thank God that I have a husband who does more household chores than I ever do. Also, he takes care of our 3 boys very well without any complaints. I would give full credit to him for helping me achieve my career goals❤ In my observation its more of a cultural issue. Being an American malayalee, In our small community here, I see most of the men hailing from Kerala help around without any complaints because its a survival thing here😊 Hope as malayalees are well known for quickly adapting western culture, this characteristic also will be copied by our new generation.

Recently, I got an interactive session with my colleagues.. One of them was telling how his wife is a homemaker and doesn't have any work to do.. Just sitting idly, watching serials and i wondered how he could just pass such a comment in front of entire people that too about his wife.. It's tough for a women to manage household chores. Each and every men should atleast respect women for wat they r doing for u.. Managing both office and house is such a difficult task and one should help his wife/mom.
