Imagine we got what we litearlly wished for, i subbed to magnus, i watched him back in the day, he actually motivated me to train isometric and that helped me so much on the table later on, my riser strength was so much above average that armwrestlers asked if i armwrestled alot before. Im from Denmark, cant wait for this to unfold.

Would be amazing to see Magnus and Brian at the table.

It would be great to see you guys get together and do some grip training.

This match would probably make more sense at Shaw Classic or at a Strongman Event as a Supermatch Best of 5.

If Magnus Samuelsson and Brian Shaw both joins armwrestling. Holy fuck. Two absolute monsters that has enormous potential to make the level go up even further😂😂💪🔥

@@me_too_thanks5062 Relax. Guys like Brzenk have been active at the highest level this entire time. Magnus is still strong but he hasnt been active at all for a few decades. He has good knowledge to share, would be really fun to see him with Brian, but Magnus aint going for any arm wresting comeback. Its obvious listening to him.Let them just have fun without making mega unrealistic claims.

Magnus Samuelsson was an awesome strongman but I think a lot of people are getting carried away with this whole match up. If anyone saw the climbing videos with Magnus he does have some permanent injuries making things difficult for him and his grip strength is nowhere near his peak which is only natural for someone that has been retired for no less than 16 years. Unlike Brzenk who btw is an anomaly, Magnus hasn't been arm wrestling consistently the past 30 years. He has also slimmed down and lost much of his top end strength and he turns 55 this year. I'm not sure he would be willing to put his already banged up body through another period of intense training with the added "supplements" necessary to compete with Brian.

Magnusson dude curled 305 on a Olympic straight bar for reps, one of the strongest guys in the weight room I ever saw on video.

Perfect first match for brian taking on a familiar legend whose also a great armwrestler 👌

Brian had is having armwrestling at his Strongest Man on Earth event. I bet he would pay for a flight out if you would commentate some of his competitions! You are an absolute legend and it's great to see you on the table again.

Honestly, I'm just buzzing to see Magnus at the table again AND I'd love to see Brian and Magnus spend some time together. Proper blast from the past and both know the strongman journey. What a great time to be an armwrestling fan :)

I really appreciate this video, the way it was edited together.. I am super excited about this potential. Even if there is no "super match" in arm wrestling, it sounds like Magnus and Brian are interested in Arm Wrestling, so why not get together and at a minimum be a couple of amazing training partners :)

yes! we need to see more Swede power on the table! I met Brian at an airport and the only thing that impressed me more than his giant stature was his class. He's genuinely a great guy. I think a match up of Magnus vs Brian would be one to watch.

It would be awesome to see these two gentlemen give it a go.

Good prize money both for winning and participating can be arranged. It will be legendary having two strongman veterans clash out on the armwrestling table. Many people from the armwrestling world still remembers you Magnus. I am confident it will draw in a good audience. Perhaps even make more strongmen open their eyes to armwrestling. You can make great ambassador work by participating in a future event against brian; when the time is right. Brian still needs a lot of practice but I think, that one day, it will be a great match for the sport of armwrestling and as a way to draw more eyes to the sport, which can also help the future of your son by giving him more chances and possibilities. There is really no negative to this in my own humble opinion. Think about it deeply.

As a fan of old time Strong Man I'd love to Magnus vs Brian on the table.

I had no idea Magnus Samuelsson had a KZread. Immediately Sub'd. Magnus won the first ever WSM I watched from start to finish as a boy and he was my favorite strongman straight until he retired. Would love to see some collaborations with Brian Shaw. Was cool to see those clips of Dave Ostlund and Janne Virtanan, brings back memories.

Great to see a collab between you and Brian, or indeed a match up, but i think Brian needs a lot more training before he starts taking matches on. Strength is definitely there, but he needs more technique, more table time, and more confidence in his skills. Interesting times

The mountain's strongman statics and peak is better than brain shaw.But in the general,we can say that brain was the most succesful athlete in strongman competitions.

Of any of the 315lbs curls ive seen people do on an Oly bar, Magnus's looked strict and fairly easy
