    I know it takes after the family line of the R2s Marvel solid & pearl & the Nano solid now we have the Hybrid with a new name. If the cover takes after the IQ line so we had the OG iq , the gold pearl and the iQ fusion hybrid. So if you follow the shapes of balls the fusion was a Traction shape vs the iq tour being arc, the gold being angular. The fusion hybrid had so much RA value so I’m sure this hybrid has teeth! If we drill this pin down the drilled numbers should raise the RG to near 2.50 maybe?

    @@BeefandBarnzy I get that. Balls are always going to move to equalize with the lane. But if it's shining as fast as say an idol pro with the 3000 sheen, I'd be looking to throw it on a spinner. If all the lanes are oiled the same, how do they differ?

  • @drakedbz

    @drakedbz

    Every lane is different due to minor differences in topography. This basically means slight differences in the levelness of the lane that makes a (sometimes large) difference in how the ball moves.

  • @bunker5696

    @bunker5696

    Жыл бұрын

    Some lanes have been bowled on more over the years, creating lots of friction (which can cause the ball to jump). Sometimes a high rev player can shred the oil pattern. Sometimes if lots of people Bowl on a lane the oil pattern gets really worn out. Lots of little factors.

  • @iceman5117

    @iceman5117

    Жыл бұрын

    They aren't oiled the same. Especially with older machines, you'll get significant variations in topography from lane to lane. If the operator has to fill the machine twice to cover 40 lanes, lanes 1, 20 and 40 are going to be dry while 10 and 30 are going to be heavy

  • @BeefandBarnzy

    @BeefandBarnzy

    I'm 61 years old. I was primarily taught to bowl by a Strohs beer team individual from the 1950's Dave Percudani sr. He was also responsible for tutoring a Lady Proffesional bowler, Audrey Coburn who in 1970 entered her first pro tournament & managed to finish 17th. My reasons for bringing this up is many. Today's lane conditions are generated to increase scoring. In the earlier days oil was applied gutter to gutter. Scoring wasn't as high yet those that had ability with accuracy were still able to score well. The game today is now full of so called 200 average bowlers due to lane conditions favoring a ( AREA ) that can cover for lack of ability. I don't like where the game has gone. It's disappointing to see what's happened over the years. Bowling balls are nothing more today than taking advantage of the current area type conditions found on most of today's lane conditions.

    on 3/12/1958 the Budweiser team had the following scores. Carter 754 Bluth 834 Patterson 736 Hennessey 759 Weber 775 Total 3825 = 257.2 Ave To say the lanes were never easy back in the day, and that they were oiled gutter to gutter is just factually incorrect. Has technology made the game easier, YES. But I don't think that bowling has really every been a super hard game except with professional tournaments. I can appreciate you don't like the game as much today and that it is too easy now..... But don't say it was super impossible 60 years ago!!
